Love the Cairns Esplanade. One of its key highlights is the Northern Activity Precinct. It includes:- Beach Volleyball- Skate Park- 3X3 Basketball court- Boulder ParkIt also has a beautiful boardwalk and walking and/or running track overlooking the Coral Sea.Has clean amenities (with wheel chair access) and drinking water fountains for our hot and humid days!!

Wow impressive stuff, 3 courts and lighted at night till 10 pm. On certain days there are volleyball trainings check schedule near the Lagoon. Head out any day around 4 and chances are you'll be able to play volleyball.

Awesome sport area - beach volleyball with public access and perfect light system.Located at the ocean, which gives a great feeling. Easy 10 minutes walk from the Esplanade Lagoon. Definitely worth a visit and to throw some balls.

Good volleyball fields with nice sand and good people. Has a watertap to refill bottles or drink from. Lights come on when the sun goes so you can keep on playing.
