The Hatch Farm Stay Port Macquarie
It's a nice spot by the river. Farm animals for the kids to check out. A single long drop loo and cold shower, good for a quick rinse. There is plenty of room for a caravan. But, for an unpowered site, it is a little expensive. $25 per person, per night, even if you just have a tent or a slide on camper like us, which takes up less space. We stayed for 2 nights and $100 for one vehicle spot is ridiculous.

I absolutely loved staying here with my family. Susan, the host, was so lovely & patient with my kids. The cottage was large & comfy with a full kitchen & a huge shower with a glorious rain head. The river was stunning but the highlight was feeding all the animals. It is also a short drive into town. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Very nice place to stay, lots of farm animals that you can feed and pet. During our stay, there were eight young puppies (8 weeks old). Very welcoming host who is happy to explain everything about the animals. There are plenty of things to do. If you have kids (or like animals), it’s a must stay. Had a wonderful time.

The Hatch Farm Stay Port Macquarie
An experience in nature, sleeping next to the river and it a great spot to see the amazing sunrise, the owners are pleasant and nice and will help you with whatever you need. Sleeping in the caravan is right on the farm itself, in the morning you can feed the animals - horses, pigs, chickens, rabbits and more. In addition you can borrow kayaks at no extra charge and pedal around the island which is in the river a relaxing and pleasant experience in a breathtaking view.

What an amazing part of the world!!!Riverside camping with excellent fishing, hot water and toilets!Also great for kids as the property has a petting zoo like set up with pigs, cows, ducks, chickens, rabbits, goats & Guinea pigs.The owner is also very friendly and has fresh eggs from the chooks available!Definitely coming back!!!

We had the best Stay at the Hatch farm stay!Susan & Bernard were fantastic hosts. So patient with our kids, and let them be involved with feeding the animals.Toilets and showers Clean .We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our farm stay! We camped on-site on this beautiful property. The animals are soo friendly and loving, we got a lot of friendly pats from the resident border collie Chloe. Thank you Susan for a memorable stay!

Such a brilliant spot for camping, ended up staying for a whole week. Beautiful nature, birds, water and sunset in the midst of an animal farm. Just such a beautiful experience. The owners are really friendly and so helpful with getting the best experience for their guests. Would give 6 stars if possible!

The Hatch would have to be one of our best camps as a family. So many baby animals and places to explore. Hosts Susan and Bernard were incredibly accomodating with bait, free range eggs and wood for sale at camp, for a very reasonable price.Camp sites are huge and right on the river and we were lucky enough to catch a few fish. Highlight of the trip would have to be the gorgeous puppies which we were allowed to snuggle at our camp site, whenever we wanted.We will definitely be back, thank you for having us on your beautiful working farm Susan and Bernard, so many experiences were had for all ages.
