This company is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have no words to describe how bad the customer service is. I have been hung up on, lied too and spoken to in a horrible manner more time than I care to remember. It is beyond me how this company keeps operating and keeping customers. Its an absolute disgrace!

Never use this ADT service. I was promised refund upon cancelling my contract after 3 year. It has been more than 2 month and I am still waiting for my refund. The customer service kept on promising that it is being processed. Please use other security services that care about their customers.

Can't say I've had a good experience. If I could give zero I would have given zero. Customer service is argumentative. ADT is always looking for a way to extend terms and charge more. When you require technical assistance as their equipment or products fail you are at their mercy as to when they will attend. I had to wait a month for a faulty camera and a battery on a reed switch which had been installed not even 3 months. No accountability, but rest assured you will be charged for even when equipment fails to provide the service you are paying for. No reward for loyalty, been a customer for 10 years as they are the only security company that can provide the services I require. I had less than 6 months left on a contract and they were incapable of providing a few hundred dollars credit to close one of our many accounts even though we had been long standing clients. I did not feel valued as a client after I had signed the contracts. Unless absolutely necessary as no one else can provide the service I personally would not recommend using ADT under any circumstances.

1 star is even being too generous. Have had the system for 3 years and it has never worked properly. When a technician bothers to show up we get charged a call out fee even though they tell us they fixed the issue but the problem is still there. We have lost pay from work taking days off waiting for a technician to turn up but they don’t show and don’t bother ringing. When we put in a complaint they send an email to say they will look into it but never do and don’t want to know about it when we ring them.When the alarm did go off it took over an hour for the security guys to attend and our security cameras showed them not even getting out of their car to check but lied that they looked around the house.Would not recommend at all. Quick to take money every month but customer service does not existStill trying to get contact from them. We spoke to Jessica in complaints once but now she won’t even return our phone calls and promised to not charge for last call out but still getting bills and now threatened with the debt collector but every time we ring they say they will get someone to call back but we never get a call back. The system has never worked properly and we get charged every time a technician comes to look at it but they never fix it properly. Biggest waste of money ever.

We have been with ADT since the Honeywell days and to date have been very happy. Not anymore. Automated notification bypasses call/missed call notificatoon and goes straight to voicemail leaving no notification even though it has left a voicemail. I was in hospital and due to this system did not receive notification my alarm had activated. Only had problem since the upgrade from 3G to 4G which is not done by ADT technicians as in the past but all outsourced. I have lost trust/faith in the company that I have been with for many years.

Overall service is woeful. Nothing but headaches. Have been a long term customer but too many issues with them now. Do yourself a favour dont get a system with them. Here we are months down the track & still experiencing issues. They dont care about customer service

Avoid at all costs!!!The technicians don’t know how to install alarm systems properly , the alarms are faulty and blame you when they don’t work , the cancellation department won’t let you cancel your account if you don’t want to deal with them anymore. They also lie and make false promises for discounts You get threatening phone calls if they think you owe them money, don’t have an account with them anymore I’m still getting a monthly bill.Its been an absolute nightmare dealing with this company , they are supposed to make you feel safe not unsafe!! They need to be exposed

This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with.cancelled my association with them in march 2022 and are still direct debiting my account. I suggest anyone who has had these problems contact the ATO. I am still awaiting my reimbursement of deductions and they have yet still to have stopped this despite countless emails and phone calls. I wouldn’t waste time time going to fair trading go straight to ATO about this and hopefully this place can be audited due to such negligent practices occurring.I cancelled due to them wanting to charge me over $250 for reconfiguring my app when I updated my phone. You are not remotely set up they call a “technician “ even as minor as a new phone would mean a technician is called to configure your phone so you can view again. It seems that’s how they make there money. So anytime you get a new phone expect to pay this amount or more cause the settings need reconfiguring and they flat out refuse to do it over the phone.Stay away people this is a very dodgy place!

DO NOT GET ADT unless you like to get phone call 2am by faulty sensor and never fixed until you pay extra $830 to upgrade to new equipment. Better to get Ring or your owner system without paying monthly fee.
