We loved this motel.old fashioned hospitality the rooms are spotlessly clean with no over powering smell of disinfectant to mask smells like you find in most motels. The owners are very helpful and friendly.nothing was to much trouble for them.The lady obviously loved her garden and it showed the flowers were a welcoming sight in the harsh landscape of Lighting Ridge where only the toughest survive. Loved our stay could have stayed longer as there is so much to do in this interesting little town. Thank you Bluey Motel for great stay Elaine and Brian.

Nice, simple motel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It's nice and quiet at night too. The price was very reasonable and the owners are lovely.Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay in Lightning Ridge. Very friendly and helpful staff and although a little old fashioned the rooms were very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Also everything you might need for your stay is catered for. Perfectly located in town and very quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Bluey is an older style small motel in a remote destination so don't expect the Ritz. We stayed 2 nights and found it to be clean, comfortable, friendly, fairly priced and well located. We would definitely stay again.

I probably wouldn't stay anywhere else if in Lightning Ridge again.Corinna does an excellent job of running this motel. We had such a good stay.I totally recommend The Bluey Motel.

Bluey Motel
Older style but very good and fits into Lightning Ridge. $100 a night, good kitchenette, hairdryer, nice people.

Older style motel that has all the basics for your stay,clean comfortable room located in the main street within easy walking distance to the pub ( best meal & drink),club which you have to join to enter,shops,cafes,tourist attractions.Helpful friendly manager.Highly recommend.

Very friendly, family run place. You will feel very welcome, and the coulple running it will try to help you with any question you might have.Rooms had heatpump for warm and cold days and beds were very comfortable.Highly recommended.
