A hole in the wall with an awesome food, The Sitting Wombat is an absolute gem. Their Benny is to die for, and even their fruit toast found me craving for more. A lot more. My wife loved their Buddha's Bowl. Next time I must try one of their omelettes.

We enjoyed the food very much. The bread with butter was crispy and soft. The omelette with homemade tomato sauce made the taste freshly. Loved the rich mocha and matcha latte.

Our visit was a bit of a disaster sadly. There was no clear process when we arrived wanting to eat in so we were standing awkwardly in the takeaway ordering queue. Contrary to other reviews, most of the menu options do have gluten and the GF options are very limited. We sat there for half an hour after we ordered getting cold due to the lack of heating, only to find out they had forgotten about our order. We got a refund for the food but probably should have insisted on a refund for the coffee and smoothie (both OK) as well. Quite a disappointment.

Very good breakfast catc up with a friend here. Nice, but like so many places now, have to pay extra for everything. Whatever happened to ordering bacon & eggs & getting mushrooms, bacon & tomato as standard fare?

This lovely cafe has become our go to destination for a fantastic coffee and meal. The service is great and the food never disappoints, best eggs benny in the area and it’s perfect every time!

Lovely little cafe - easy parking so perfect for a break as I was driving through the area. More than decent coffee courtesy of St Ali and a good selection of food options. A good find and I’ll be coming back!

The Sitting Wombat Cafe.
Came here today and sat down the back. Was asked to move cause 2 people cannot sit at a place for 4. Fair enough, asked if they could clean the empty vacated table right near us and she insisted we sit further down. We didn't want to sit near the door cause it's cold. The lovely man began clearing the other table and we moved. The lady called us selfish and went back to work. A few minutes later she took a photo of us. When i asked her why she denied it. I gave 2 stars cause the gentlemen working was kind and the coffer was nice. Shame about the rude lady staff member, who i feel may be the boss. Sad thing is no one else wanted those tables while we were there.

The Sitting Wombat Cafe.
An excellent cafe for having lunch. This was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. The staff were very friendly which is something I always look out for. The chips were very crispy and crunchy, the chicken Parma was delicious, the toast with scrambled egg and tomato relish was tasty. So overall a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend this place to others.
