Mushroom Rocks Campground
Less than an hour casual walk from Mt Erica car park. Great to stroll around and investigate all the Tors (big big rocks) and how they all amazingly fit together. First stop as you continue up to Mt Erica and onwards.

Very nice camping spot, but no facilities here. Toilets are at the carpark, 1km away.There is no road access to this campsite, it is a fair walk in so recommend for bush walkers only.

Mushroom Rocks Campground
Nice walk. Surrounded by lots of birds, bush and rocks. We only walked to the rocks and back down. We did end up with a couple of leeches on our shoes, but I think that was due to the track at the start was a little wet. No dogs allowed.Toilets are there at the parking spot.

Such a magical experience being here. Love that it's part of the Australian Alps Walking Trail. Very picturesque with the different rocks around the camp ground site. We did it on the day the clouds engulfed the mountain and couldn't find the actual Mushroom Rock. Would definitely come back.

Mushroom Rocks Campground
We use Mushroom rocks as a overnight camp before heading up to BawBaw plateau. It is a great camp ground when you are heading to Baw Baw for a bushwalking weekend. It is a short, easy 40 minutes from Mt Erica car park. Can be difficult to find a place to pitch your tent when it has been raining.
