I was looking for options to buy a home but given the very high barriers to entry for most first home buyers, I was resigned to spending 5 more years saving up money to afford a deposit when an ad popped up on FB regarding a low deposit ($5K) option with Home First.I did a bit of research and investigation and was of course sceptical at first as I'm a strong believer in the adage of If it's too good to be true then it probably is". However

If you are looking at purchasing a property, I definitely recommend speaking to the guys at Home First before doing anything! My partner and I thought we were years away from having enough of a deposit saved to buy our first property but the guys at Home First were able to make it all happen within 3 months! They listened to what we wanted and found something within our specifications. The whole process was made easy and they put us in touch with all the relevant parties, while supporting us throughout. They couldn't able to provide me suitable property what I was looking for. Initially they communicated with me to find my property but afterwards no response even though several mails and call from my end. Fully disappointed and never recommended. I just lost my AUD 500 access fee with no reason. I have borrowing capacity as per their requirement contact therefore the given access fee also not refundable.
