Churchman Brook Dam
One dam that has almost everything in a serene environment. Quiet, lots of parking lots, bbq stands, toilets facilities, bins, large lawns and picnic seats, sheds, kids playground, lookouts. Such a nice location for family picnic.

I stumbled upon this place on the way home from Araluen Botanic Garden. I did not expect much from this place however it turned out it had all the best from a picnic spot; parking bays, clean toilets, lots of shaded picnic tables and bbq, well maintained grass area, a playground and beautiful view of lush vegetation and dam. Well done Watercorp.

We visited this dam and were taken in by the serenity of the place. The scenery is great with a view of the water and nearby forest.

Nice picnic spot with many bandas, lots of grass, shade, excellent walkways, bbq, toilets, water and plenty of parking just renovated the children's playground it's excellent.

Churchman Brook Dam and playground.The playground is new! Lovely refreshed grounds. New toilet block. Plenty of parking. A couple of bbqs. Plenty of bins. The playground is suitable from about 2 years onwards climbing-wise. However there are paths all around for prams/bikes/scooters. Also a lovely grassed area for running around/kicking a ball.Nearby are bush areas for the kids to explore and of course the dam.

Love the new nature play ground they have put in, much nicer than the old one that was way out of everyone's way, this new one is located in a much better spot with toilets and BBQs close by and a few shelters. There are more picnic shelters and BBQs a little further away but still a close enough walk to the playground.

What a way to start the first day of awsome weather! Pack your bags, bring a hat and prepare for a leisurely drive. Towards the perth hills we go. Churchman Brook Dam. Nice atmosphere, family friendly amenities, playgrounds, BBQ are and plenty of seating. Natural shelter with trees and bins provided. And its free! If you need to get out of the suburbs then heres a spot you could go. Worth the trip.

Nice drive to get there, well set out with shelters and toilets. A good place for a picnic and there is a playground for the kids.
