The Gourmet Girl Cafe is an absolute hidden gem located walking distance from Laburnum station. Amazing coffee and delicious food with incredibly friendly staff. 5/5 would recommend this place and will be coming back again!

Really nice eggs, Benedict real hollandaise saucethe only thing I would say is that next time I come I’ll ask for toast instead of the bread that it comes with its not very nice, as it wasn’t toasted properly and it was spongy heated up breadbut I would come back no worries it’s only bread coffee is absolutely fantastic. I even had 2 cups try the place out it’s really nice

Had a pretty good lunch here today. Prices were fair and the quality was good. Service and atmosphere a bit lacking, but would go here again. Ordered a tea and found the serving very generous (pictured). Menu is quite large for such a small place, and food was served within 15 mins.

Asked for the breakfast bruschetta but instead received two soggy pieces of bread with cold sautèd spinach and two large barely grilled tomatoes, with mushrooms on the side. No olive oil, no balsamic vinegar, no garlic, no flavour whatsoever. Told the waitress to please not charge me for it because it was disgusting and I could not bring myself to eat it. Waitress then came and told me that I was being rude for voicing my opinion. I told her it wasn't her fault, but the chefs, she still proceeded to tell me I was rude for telling her I couldn't eat it.I usually wouldn't voice my opinion on the food but because my friend was paying for me at the time, I really didn't want her to pay for something I couldn't eat that was barely made well. Waitress telling me I was rude was just uncalled for.

Lovely shaded environment for outdoor dining and / or ☕️ coffee and a smaller indoor space - The order takers have poor English and it require some effort to communicate, The cakes are a little tired looking, the coffee is OK - A pity, but there are other options nearby.

Great neighbourhood brunch spot. There's a nice alfresco area under a big tree which provides a very relaxed atmosphere. The iced latte is great and the food is good.

Well situated cafe with ample comfortable outdoor seating. I like their fluffy omelette filled with mushroom, onion, capsicum and tomatoes.
