I did the e-safety check here, afterwards I felt something different with the car so I drove back although I wasn't sure about what was different. Patrick took the time to drive with me and parked at the same spot where I did previously to ensure that there was nothing wrong with the car. It was possibly I didn't re-adjust the seat / mirror well. I appreciate that Patrick took the time to drive with me and removed my concern with the car. He's trustworthy and truly put customers at the center of the business, for that they deserve a 5 star or more!

Beware do not take your car here regardless of these reviews!First indications of business with Patrick were positive as he did a pre-purchase inspection and refused to take anything for it but we left him a bottle of scotch for his troubles.My mother then took her car for the first service (which he recommended to buy) and turns out there are $1000's worth of repairs.Such examples of heavily inflated prices - $1200 for front struts, a transmission cable for $650 which I fixed myself under 5 minutes, the cable was caught under gear shifter and did not need a whole replacement). FYI this is a Holden Astra.Using such scare tactics of its not going to pass registration and your transmission could fail at anytime to get any last dollars out of my poor mother.Surprising, that given the initial first impressions I thought it was an honest mechanic for a change but no, he'll still try take as much money as he can out of you.

I sent a few emails regarding estimates for a regular check-up nearby, and Alogrep was one of the few that got back to me. They were also the only ones to follow-up after too, so I went with them. The staff were very friendly and seemed very trustworthy (which is important!). The price was affordable, and they didn't try to force sell any extras (parts / extra fluids) - made it optional for the next service but I got them done in the same one since they were polite and informative. Definitely will be our go to mechanic in the future.

An honest no rubbish mechanic that are there to help get the job done. A very refreshing experience compared to others who try to sell you headlight fluid. Have been here for a basic service and to problem solve an issue with my car, both experiences were great!
