Had a two night stay here recently. I would actually take issue with the advertised claim of being small and quiet. What they fail to tell you in any of the advertising is that at the rear of the park are two large two-storey buildings that are described as lodges" that are used to house fruit-pickers

We had a five star stay at this caravan park. I am new to caravanning and the staff were so helpful. Warm, cozy camp kitchen with everything provided. Great laundry as well. Easy walk to town along a lovley creek. Make sure you go to the cafe in the old cinema and wak the Police Paddock Track.

This is a council run park and the only one in town. Well priced at $30pn on a long weekend. Some people had fires in pits they brought along so I guess they are allowed. The Tumbarumba Creek flows through the park and the town. It is quite a large fast flowing creek. The park has lovely deciduous trees and grassy sites. A bit of levelling required on some and it would be best to tell them when booking if you have a big van as some sites are shorter than others. There are 2 lodges built for workers and fruit pickers and these have their own amenities and kitchen. There is a separate camp kitchen and amenities for the caravanners. The showers are not fantastic in that they are old and the water pressure isn't great. The powerpoints didn't work so I unplugged the hand dryer to use my hairdryer. No silly codes to remember or keys to carry which is good. The park is an easy walk to town along the river. In town there is a pub, butcher, bakery, IGA and fuel. There is also a visitor's information centre and 2 places to hire bikes. The butcher is really good and reasonably priced. All in all it is a lovely park in a lovely town where you can sit by the river and contemplate life.

Rudest people ever, not only are the owners abnoxious and selfish. But somehow they've trained their employees to be the most indecent people. The rooms don't get cleaned properly, I had to clean over everything myself before I even felt like touching anything. Not only is there not enough accommodation as well but the room are so small you could get claustrophobic. So yeah I think do not stay here it's a complete waste of money. As they do not even let you have visitors or visit anybody either. So don't waste $300+ a week because you'll regret it. And they also don't refund all the money they owe you either.

The grounds are the worst you will ever see. The amenities are dirty and very tired. The staff is the only good thing about the place.

The toilets and showers seem clean with hot water. There are 3 public showers and a lot more toilets. Some are in the gender based shower area and some in the unisex toilet area. There is a park kitchen with fridges, freezers, tables, chairs and stoves. You can do some fishing in the rivers in certain times of the year, but the crayfish is prohibited. There is power and water in the caravan area and a dumping area, too, for caravans with toilets. One BBQ station under cover but very small reccomend bringing some chairs. Pets are allowed, and the location is close to the showground, which is literally just outside the gate. Not sure about the situations with the internet, but you get range with Telstra.A little update after the review yesterday, the showers were all wet, not sure why the showers should be showered in the morning, hard to find a place to put something dry and the shower heads could be placed much higher to acxomodate the taller people. The kitchen could do with a little more cleaning and going to suggest providing free wifi given the bad internet speed with data from Telstra even with 2-3 bars.
