Thornton Beach Bungalows

What a great vibe. Private and quiet. Couldn't be closer to the beach! Well equiped BBQ with a view of the water through the trees. Really enjoyed our stay here with great accommodating host. Being from Cairns we will be back. Would recommend for short stays.

Tiny but great bungalow. Cross the road to be directly on the beach. A very beautiful one but can’t swing unfortunately because of stingers and crocodiles. Small cafe/restaurant in front too but was close during our stay.Owner very friendly. Room clean. You’ll get your own BBQ but make sure to bring enough food as there’s only one small shop in town.Location great as less than 10 min drive from daintree discovery center and a great ice cream factory.

Cute, clean and comfortable bungalows across the road from the beach ( don’t swim cause you might end up dead). Lovely owner. Would even have been better if cafe by the beach was open, but obviously as it’s the rainy season and COVID it’s to be expected. Definitely will be coming back.

Can't fault this place. The owners are super nice and have thought of everything. Great value i would 100% recommend a stay here.

The property is located in a very quiet area just on the main road. There's a small cafe at the opposite, only breakfast (not early) & lunch are available. The bungalow is clean but quite small. The area is quiet, at night can hear the wave as well as the noisy traffic. When the light is off, it is very dark, have your light or torch nearby if need to get up at night.There is a petrol and store 10 mins away and not many choices (bring your own BBQ food). There is a BBQ and no other cooker to use, but I asked Jodie to arrange a gas cooker for me (thanks to her very much).The beach is just cross the road, it's beautiful but can't swim. The WiFi single is very weak and no Telstra phone and data reception at all.

Magical. Well appointed cabin with thoughtful touches like tea bags from the Daintree Tea company. Super easy check in and great communication. Lovely private bbq area for each cabin.

Such a little gen at the middle of the rain forest! You just need to cross the road to be on a beautiful beach.The owner made everything well done.She wrote us a little note on the door, put mosquitos spray, outdoor lamp, umbrellas, body wash & co.The bungalow is a bit small but we were really happy because we were feeling home and welcomed.Affordable price too.Thank you :)

Was very impressed with the Bungalow, this is our 2nd visit and the new owners have done it up beautifully and very stylish. Love the outdoor eating area. Just what I needed to get away from the concrete forest. Clean, stylish and so comfortable. Definitely recommend this place.
