Holiday Inn & Suites Parramatta Marsden Street, an IHG Hotel

Really nice that they have laundry room. Our drains did not drain well, had to pause few times during shower.

Absolutely will stay again. They made parking so easy, just need to pre-book, check in and check out was super simple and the room was great!

Start off with how beautiful this hotel is! We spend almost 2 weeks here coming from Canada and had a great experience! There was a couple of hiccups here and there but the manager Joel was super kind and took care of us in every way! Very small boutique type hotel but extremely well thought out! Parking is offered but there is also a lot of street parking around the hotel as well. Close to the mall and a few walks near by. Very central location to visit Sydney downtown via bus or freeway. Coffee was great as well. Can’t compliment Joel and the rest of the staff enough for their kindness and accommodations.

The room was nice. Everything worked. Disappointing aspect was the misinformation during the phone booking process. They sold me a breakfast package clearly confirming (on my questioning) that it was a hot buffet breakfast. The reality is that it's only a very modest continental breakfast. Parking was also indicated as being Included however when I checked in it was explained it was an additional $20. Parking in this area is limited but you can find a spot if you don't mind a 5 minute walk.

Located on a busy intersection, you cannot park to get to reception to book in. I booked an underground carpark which was the smallest and hardest carpark to get into. Once I finally got into the carpark there were no carparks. I had to reverse the car out of the carpark because there was no room to turn around. I ended up parking a block away. The room although clean felt like a shoe box as it only had windows above eye level. Wont be staying there again.....just a lot of hassle.
