Sole Impression

My partner visited this store alone in search of a new pair of sneakers for himself. He was alone in the store except for a mother with a teenage daughter, the staff member offered him no acknowledgement or help throughout his time in the store, he asked for his size etc and said he felt that the staff member was too busy talking with the female customer’s and after 3 attempts to enquire about prices and if they offered a layby in store he left feeling frustrated.When I went in store with him, he said the staff member was very attentive to me, I felt the staff member hovered over me too much but when pressed for more details or instore layby etc she was clueless and inexperienced.It’s a shame the young girl on this day didn’t know more about her job and how to serve customer’s as she did about engaging in town gossip and swearing. I hope I encounter a more professional staff member the next time I go here. And unfortunately my partner will never be back.
