Amberesque B&B

Had an absolutely amazing stay at Amberesque. It is in a prefect central location and is beautifully appointed. Amber is a superb host and I would highly recommend staying there.

We arrived and we were greeted by Amber and we were so impressed. Amber was amazing supplying every possible bit of information we needed and showing us around the property. Everything was amazing from the cheese platter and wine to the beautiful breakfasts. The rooms were beautifully presented and the garden was relaxing. We loved our stay and we will be back. We have stayed here numerous times now. The most amazing and friendly hosts. Amber fully personalises your experience of Rutherglen and showcases the town perfectly with her locally sourced produce and wines she has on offer. Best place to stay and an unforgettable experience.

Wow - great place to stay and base yourself in beautiful Rutherglen. Amber is a great host, nothing is a problem and she is so knowledgeable and passionate about the Rutherglen region. The B&B is located in a magnificent property, originally built in 1899. Our room had a great bed and an array of bathroom amenities. There are also very spacious common spaces (huge lounge and balcony with vista, heating/fans and mini bar) plus you are literally next door to the best restaurants in town. We had the most wonderful Easter break in Rutherglen. Amber’s hospitality, local knowledge and superb B&B were key elements of our most memorable stay. Oops - I nearly forgot to mention the outstanding, generous, home cooked gastronomic breakfasts. Thanks Amber.

Our stay was perfect with spacious rooms and delicious, generous breakfast everyday! Amber was friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to provide us recommendations of the region which were spot on.Location was right on the main street which was really convenient.Will definitely be coming back :) thank you for a wonderful experience

Loved the quickness of waking up to a delicious cooked breaky in an old bank! Everything about our weekend was consistent thanks to Ambers knowledge of the area and passion for quality hospitality. We’re heading home well rested and with full belly’s hoping to be back soon!

I’m have been coming to Ambersque Bed and Breakfast since 2018, and it’s an incredible experience and place to visit, amazing breakfast and the owners are very friendly and customer centric, whilst the selection for the freshly made breakfast is incredible and each time I go, I notice new renovations to the place. Amazing hospitality, location is superb and the locals are very friendly. Looking forward to coming back in August.

Amberesque is excellent. Generous and genial hospitality, with a beautiful building, comfortable rooms, warm atmosphere and huge breakfasts (perfect for morning winery visits). Amber adds so many thoughtful touches to your stay, like the abundant cheese and wine platter on arrival, the home made cookies in your room, the wonderful home made bread and preserves each day, and the local muscat barrel for a night time nip. She’s also helpful with advice on places to visit in Rutherglen. Thanks again!

We've stayed at Amberesque a couple of times now and boy oh boy we can not wait to go back!!Amber is such a delight, she is friendly, knowledagble and very accommodating, she makes you feel right at home.The rooms are immaculatey clean, comfy and authentic. The old bank has such a great feel to it.Breakfast was nothing sort of amazing, showcasing delicious local produce.The BnB is located right in the heart of Rutherglen which is perfect for exploring other local points of interest.Thanks for making our stay so amazing.

Amber is such a warm and generous host and her BnB a wonderful getaway. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed, cozy and comfortable, and having use of the beautiful lounge is a bonus. A glass of port in front of the fire, records on the record player, cheese platter and bottle of wine…what a way to relax. Walk to the wonderful bars and restaurants along the street, or grab a bike and ride for a spot of wine tasting. Amber’s breakfast are generous, home made and delicious; definitely try her special international menu! Sit and read the paper over breakfast, drinking your freshly brewed locally sourced coffee. We love Rutherglen and continue to stay with Amber and Shannon, who make our weekends away very special. It’s the little extras of hospitality that make people return to this gorgeous place.
