A bit disappointed, my son scraps stuff for precious and non-ferrous metals. Ad says they pay for scrap, but he needed a ton of steel to be paid for it. Good guys but my son was hopeful.

Good people, good service

Dropped off about 60kg of unweighed steel at the Hale St depot. Not much in the scheme of things. I asked if I was going to get paid and they suggested “Why bother it’s only worth $2, most people just drop it off?”. The three guys I met were hot, stressed and irritable including the manager who berated me for asking for a few dollars. He ended up giving me $5 as a sign of good faith. I told him I’d called half an hour before and spoke to a female. It’s not a happy place. There was no weighing or official receipt. I had a bag of aluminium cans they suggested I just throw in the rubbish. Sure they don’t want to waste time on trivial amounts. Maybe a sign out the front would help.

Dodgy. At a time that copper is paying 10.90 a kg I got EXACTLY 100 dollars for 17kg. No name given, which is against the law. Go elsewhere. Pack of thieves.

No service at weigh in, poor direction by machine operator, verbally and physically abused for trying to follow his directions, no payment for material.....worst customer experience of my life
