Well, new owners over the past 2 years. Food is excellent.Ambience a little down since Nikki moved on but cannot fault the food and we'll priced.Good wine and Spirit list but no cocktails anymore.Service was attentive but not intrusive. A great sit down meal for a celebration.If Google would allow we'd have given 4.5 stars. Half lost re ambience. Did I mention great food? ✔️

Had the chicken with mushroom and cashew. Was beautiful. Had a few pops of fresh ginger which was divine. First time ordered from this restaurant- home delivery. Very happy.

Excellent service by the lovely waiter. Great atmosphere. Delicious curries, I got the Lamb rogan Josh medium, it was quite spicy but so good! My partner got lamb madras 'hot' and it certainly was hot but he loves spice and it was great. Highly recommend dining here, fab experience.

Use to be a really good restaurant sadly not anymore, I ordered chicken saag and I felt I’m eating daal, it was very runny and taste was not like a Palak!, this is 2nd time I’m very disappointed in their Indian food, I don’t think I will go there again. If you are going there do not order Palak paneer and chiken saagNot happy with their food and wasted my money!

The star is for the food, however everything else leaves a lot to be desired.We ordered via Menulog but no driver was being assigned. I called the restaurant to ask if I could pick up the food and the manager instructed me in no uncertain terms to cancel the Menulog order - this was already paid for and no refund was offered/allowed by Menulog.Upon pickup the manager insisted we pay again because he wouldn't be receiving the Menulog payment. We were unsure about this but he refused to give us our food until we paid and we had a hungry child at home waiting for a very late dinner.After speaking with Menulog we were told the restaurant definitely received their payment as the food had been prepared already. So we were made to pay twice (~$120) and feel like idiots! He was rude, yelling in front of his customers and clearly lied to us to make a buck. Furious.

This place is a must visit if you are visiting Dandenong ranges. Upon entrance, I received a warm welcome from Hari and his team. It was delightful to witness. From here, my personal favourites are the chicken and lentil curry but also the chicken jelfrezi (a curry with a mix or chicken and veggies). I really enjoyed the Kashmiri naan and the veg somosas that I even ordered extra to take back home. I cannot wait to come back to try other menu items!!! It was really affordable, had a great ambiance and my family had an amazing time. Thank you saffron cottage for the wonderful experience :)

Genuinely the best Indian cuisine I can remember eating. Each dish is so distinct from the next, the textures are always divine, and the colours of the sauces look so stunning on the plate!We're so lucky to live close to this restaurant. It's a genuine treat each time we order from them.
