We first time visited Peter Teakle Winery Port Lincoln to celebrate Easter holiday end up leave with an unpleasant and rude service at The Line & Label Peter Teakle. All of us are excited to order the 5 Course Meal menu and two of us dont eat seafood, and requested to changed it for meat selection in the menu so everyone can enjoy their meal. One of waitress said it is 100% seafood menu. What if your customer have seafood allergies, and cant request what their want?Because we are under the same bookings reservation, also we understand it is a busiest time during Easter, we dont mind either sit on separate table or separate the table next to each other so we would like to try their CHEF MENU+WINE PAIRINGS. The older lady seems to be the manager came up and sit down on our table explain to us in a rude way then walk off. She then forcing everyone to order Al-La Carte menu and declined our request to sit on different table so we can order CHEF MENU.Please show some friendly customer service ,Rude and confrontational staff who were only interested in arguing, and not interested in our patronage in any regard. At the end all of us force to order Al-La Carte menu, not everyone enjoy their food and atmosphere when you leave it no choice to order the menu.Highly NOT recommended due to cant accommodating your customers request.

We are visitors to Port Lincoln. Thank goodness we listened to the locals who recommended the line and label restaurant. First class service from the initial phone call to end of dining. Service wine and food all 5 star. Compliments to all. One of the most enjoyable dining experiences we've had.

This place is an absolute beauty! If we only live close by I will be here almost everytime it's open, it has a very relaxingambience. Aside from the view the structure itself is beautiful and unique, and classy. The wines are delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Amazing over experience! Perfect location with stunning views. Staff were polite and delivered great service.Food was out of this world. Kids aged 10 & 7 rated the food as 10/10 and we agree!Wine was delicious and perfectly paired with food.

Dropped in on a Saturday just after 2pm and was warmly welcomed. Decided to try the tasting of all the wines and Trish was fantastic. Trish was very descriptive and helpful throughout the tasting and her passion for her work was clearly evident. Our favourite wines included the Riesling, the Sauvignon Blanc, the Rose and the Shiraz. The cheese platter was also delicious. Cannot wait to revisit and try the restaurant meals. A wonderful location with gorgeous views, friendly staff and an overall amazing experience. Thank you.

I’d heard good things about Peter Teakle’s winery in Port Lincoln, but nothing could prepare me for this. It was nothing short of spectacular!!! Every single staff member was competent, knowledgable, warm and engaging. From Silk on the phone (who let my bring an AF vino), to the maître who greeted us - this winery is a well oiled machine. Brandon behind the bar mixed up some stunning Lyres mocktails for me, and everyone (especially Kirstie) was on top of their food/wine game. So to the food….we did the five course tasting menu for $100 (exceptional value) in restaurant Label & Line. It was sublime.. and creative..and delicious and oh so pretty. I will let the pictures speak for themselves! All local and stunningly fresh produce - think fresh caught fish ceviche, black squid ink Port Lincoln tempura prawns and Fleurieu Peninsula wagu beef.I love the collage of labels and Anzac memorabilia - every piece tells a story. After lunch we took a short stroll up to the cellar door.. we stopped and admired the kitchen gardens and sculptures on the extensive grounds. Trish and Todd were welcoming and friendly and everything you’d want as front of house in the cellar door. I can’t drink but my husband really enjoyed the Estate Shiraz and Cabernet. We picked up some savvyB and Chardy to take home to family. I’m lucky enough to call Magill Estate my local - all I can say is watch out Penfolds there’s a NEW(ish) kid in town! Take a drive, get on a Rex or fly your chopper (there’s a helipad) - you must put #PeterTeackle on your list - It’s not just a winery it’s a culinary event! Ps - I’d love to see an AF bubbles/red as an option on the wine list, no one wants to drink soda water with their wagu or oysters!
