Had a terrible experience with Sarah, the owner of Ayana beauty bar. My mother had attended an appointment for classic eyelash extensions after seeing all the good reviews. She paid $179 for the eyelashes as well as a 50% deposit for her next appointment. She followed all of the after-care instructions as recommended by Sarah.Within a little over a week, nearly all of her eyelashes had fallen out. My mother had sent a picture of her eyelashes and expressed her disappointment. Sarah's response after a day and a half, was that the picture was blurry and that at the 2-3 week mark she should still have approximately 50% of her eyelashes. Her answer for this issue was to just give my mother extra time during her refill appointment.After hearing this, I let Sarah know that this was not okay. My mother wasted $179 on this set of lashes AND she only had a few lashes remaining. After a day or so, Sarah was only willing to refund my mums deposit for her next appointment. Not at all, willing to refund the money my mum had WASTED.Women expect to go to your business for a luxury experience, yet with the way my mum has been treated I would NOT recommend Ayana Beauty Bar at all.

No apology and I’ve been denied my request for a refund!I had made an appointment and deposit pre COVID. Before restrictions eased I received communications to wait to be contacted further to rebook. I never heard anything further and was under the assumption I was still waiting. When I contacted them this week to ask when my appointment would be, she told me I had to rebook in and therefore join the waitlist again. When I told her I never received a text with a password to rebook she never apologised but told me “You should have got a text from our salon mobile a few weeks back.” I reminded her again that I didn’t receive that message and she told me that I should have been checking her posts and stories! I asked for my deposit back and she hasn’t replied to my direct message.

It would be great if appointments weren't so difficult to get and then when you finally got an appointment the appointment time was met.After rescheduling multiple times due to the therapist being sick or a close contacts I was exicited to finally have an appointment and some me time.I arrived on time for my 30 min appointment and advised the hairdresser in the salon I was there and sat down to wait... and wait I did... for 30mins, the length of my appointment time.The therapist did not come out to acknowledge me and advise she was already running 30/40mins late. Surely she knew that a client was expected at a certain time and she should watch the clock to check their arrival, and let them know she was running late, especially with no way of contacting her clients as she had left her phone at home this particular day.Yes mistakes happen but as the therapist it's upto you to keep on time with your appointments and keep track of your clients appointment times.I have contacted Ayana Beauty and eventually received a satisfactory explanation and apology but am hesitant to rebook and will struggle as appointment times are limited and hard to get due to limited operating hours.

Within the beauty industry it is hard to find someone or a place that offer consistent quality service and provide beauty products for an individual. Ayana Beauty Bar provide exactly that! Professional, knowledgeable and caring!With living 3000kms away in the Northern Territory, I yearn for Sarah's attention to detail and soft touch when dealing with my beauty needs. In fact she's the only beautician I allow to work on my most valuable features!Sarah's knowledge surpasses my expectations as a client, delivering facts to fiction in the manner of before and after treatment care and also cosmetic product knowledge pairing you with the correct items necessary.She is always there for guidance and anything you need.Sarah is the Achilles to my Heal! Being the only beautician I would ever choose.In terms of pricing, it is competitive and decent.Looking good is always at the expense of the beholder.In terms of location, it is worth leaving the city for a scenic drive to Ferntree Gully, and if you're an East sider like I used to be then consider yourself extremely lucky.Stop wasting your time anywhere else and give Ayana Beauty Bar a ring today, you'll be pleasantly surprised, I'd go on to even say addicted!

I did a lot of research before going to Ayana and I’m so glad I did. I have very short lashes and the girls were able to make them look fantastic without ruining them. A set will often last 3-4 weeks without a refill which is why I won’t go back to the cheaper places where they are gone in a week.

Came to get my brows done and was so happy with how they turned out! I ended up visiting for lash extensions a few days later and I’m so glad I did! Sarah and Caitlin are so professional and amazing. I’ll never visit anywhere else!

The comments I receive about my brows are nothing short of wonderful.The team at Ayana offer exceptional customer service, great treatments and I always leave happy and with a smile on my face.No one can put a price on that feeling.

I made a booking for an appointment through the website and it stated that a confirmation email would be sent. I didn't receive one, so I emailed the business asking to confirm my appointment. I waited a few days but nobody got back to me, so I called and left a voicemail. It's been over a week and still no contact from the business, I still don't know whether my appointment is actually booked, I'm not even sure whether the business is even operating anymore. As someone who works as a receptionist at a busy clinic, it is a two minute job at most to check the booking software for an appointment and a one minute job to reply to an email or phone call. Very unprofessional and rude.
