If you are female, expect to be spoken to condescendingly. I went in to buy a replacement pan connector for a leaking toilet and get some advice on how to secure the pan to the floor and level it. Despite being the only customer in the store, the guy who appeared to be the boss of the 2 people there could not have been any less interested in helping me. He dismissingly told me it would be too complicated for me and to call a plumber. Thought I'd get better service by going to a specialist plumbing store but how wrong I was. Went to Bunnings where the staff were so much more helpful. And yes, I was able to complete the job myself without a plumber.
