I used to come to the Stolberg all the time during my uni days. So I thought that after a few years it may be the same. How wrong I was. The staff weren't particularly friendly when we mentioned we had an elderly patron sitting with us and that a long bench table would not be suitable. The just said to throw a chair on the end" because thats all they had for that number of people. We were a group of 8 and other tables weren't being used. Then asking for a baby seat was the biggest inconvenience. We all got so incredibly ill from the food. All of my family experienced nausea and stomach cramps after dining at this venue. I thought we were safe only having chips and pizza. The chicken burger was awful and the slaw had no dressing on it and was awfully bitter.I will never recommend this pub to anyone. We would have been better going to a take away restaurant."

Food was amazing and fresh! The bartender and the employees were very humble . Situated on main road . Have nice menu to choose and match with alcoholic drinks. Has a small garden outside to breathe fresh air and talk. Sometimes can have some events for college or business people so better sit outside or reserve your seat. Has ATM inside too. Just no wifi inside so better recharge ) overall nice experience! Thanks!

Went here on a Thursday night. Nice pub and ambience. Thursday night is chicken parma and chicken schnitzel night. The chicken parma’s were absolutely huge. Only $20 on Thursday’s so a good discount off the normal price of $28. Staff were friendly and gave us a takeaway container as we had enough left over for lunch tomorrow!

Great pub meals. Lamb shoulder was sooo tender and tasty. Brisket pie was delicious, Parma was giant. Tried a couple of different cocktails I hadn't seen before which were amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Advised to book beforehand due to restrictions they were at capacity.

Party of 9 dined here for the first time over the weekend and we were impressed! Great atmosphere & decor, chesterfield couches where you can sit and play board games. Meals were outstanding. Generous portions & delicious, desserts were divine, chocolate mousse & sticky date pudding were on offer. Pool table by the bar as well. Spacious venue & we will definitely return!!

Food orders took a long time to come out, they forgot to bring out tomato sauce after being asked twice and I had to go back to the bar after 30minutes to find out what was happening with the coffee we ordered.Food was okay but nothing to write home about. Amount of chips on two different parma order was very different with not many one one.Friendly staff but forgetful

We were there on Sat(17/6) for dinner, we started with southern fried chicken to share & main was steak, food was always good, the staff is always welcoming & friendly, place is kind on the noisy side cos of the low ceiling☺️

We ordered the Scotch fillet steak and our expectations were high because it was an expensive item on the menu.It was superb and cooked to perfection - probably one of the best we've ever eaten.The chips took the whole meal to another level again - freshly cooked, crunchy outside, soft inside, hot and plentiful.The house salad was a mixture of fresh green leaves, thinly sliced radish for crunch and colour and a delicious dressing.We feel very lucky to have discovered this pub in Preston.

Unassuming bar from the outside. But a great atmosphere and well set out venue, with great food. Service staff were friendly and helpful, thoroughly enjoyed my night here. Will be back
