An Island Hideaway

I went here for a wedding in October last year. Although a beautiful setting and lovely and private, with amazing photo opportunities, the basics were lacking. There is NO air-conditoning! The boat ride over had air-conditioning inside, however they didn't want to turn it on. At the venue there were also lots of mozzies not just outside, but inside as well as it is open plan, due to no air conditioning. They had lanterns burning, but this didn't help inside. The toilets were full of mozzies and extremely hot with no ventilation. These are only minor things however did make things uncomfortable for guests, who were too polite to say anything. The general appearance of the buildings is very basic and things look like they are due for a refurbishment or at least some tiles on the floor in the reception area, rather than outside pavers. All of these things don't matter by 9:30pm when everyone is well on their way, however are definitely things to be aware of if you were considering having your wedding there.

This is one of the greatest wedding venues out there. It is affordable and my goodness everyone gets an awesome boat ride to your wedding! Not many people can say that. Plus the staff is incredible, they were more concerned with the details of my wedding than I was! Loved them and they made our special day incredible.

Excellent modern relaxation.

We recently had a wedding here and the location I describe will be an understatement. The tranquility, the ambience and the NATURE is just simply spectacular. The quality of the food and customer service for the wedding were second to none. We highly recommend Michelle and her team.
