This place is soo good, I had a small issue with the front of my Toyota Yarris and the guy fixed my car for free! Initially, I was worried about going to the mechanic as I heard that they can be really expensive but I was so relieved that he did it for free. The guy’s a legend.

Ramy became our go-to mechanic in 2015, and we were heartbroken when the Surry Hills shop was closed... which is why I'm SO glad he's found a new home for Metro Automotives! The new workshop looks great, and I love the convenient location. It's a short walk to Green Square, and access into the shop is much easier in Rosebery.Ramy is a passionate and talented mechanic, well-versed on a myriad of different makes and models, always seeming to have the right answer. He has always looked after our car, taking the time to explain what needs doing immediately, what will need doing eventually, and what can wait until the next service. He's budget conscious and pays attention to how we use our relatively older VW, always making sure it's in safe running order, without doing any extra work before it actually needs doing. Ramy's always happy to show the work that's been done and explain why it needed doing as well, and we truly appreciate his candour and transparency.Phil is also a great new addition to the Metro family. He's a talented mechanic who clearly takes pride in his work, and he seems to fit right in with Ramy.If your car's in need of a service, or you need a new mechanic, or you just want a second opinion, don't hesitate to visit Metro Automotives. The owner Ramy is the legend. He changed my car’s window regulators and even worked after hours to get it done. Very happy with his work and commitment. 5 star service 5 star person.Definitely going there to do my car servicing and other stuffs.

I first gave these guys 5 stars 2.5 years ago & I stand by that rating. Been taking our car there for all services, repairs, pink slips, etc & I can't recommend them highly enough. Honest, efficient, good quality work for a fair price.
