100% would recommend Rilten. Took us in last minute due to a family emergency. Were so kind and understanding. Made sure to get as many details about our cat and dog as possible to keep them happy.Picked up 2 very happy animals. I am so glad I found you guys, will definitely be using you in the future for any trips away. Thank you thank you thank you!

I felt at ease choosing Rilten Boarding Kennels from the moment I rang with my enquiry!! You can tell from how the staff speak with you that they adore what they do.When we dropped out boy off, they could tell I was nervous leaving him for the first time and were fantastic at chatting with us and making sure we felt confident he was fine.Erin was lovely when I rang the next day to check on him and didn't make me feel silly.Our boy came home super happy and absolutely exhausted!!Thankyou SO much team! We will see you again!!

Such a wonderful experience using Rilten Kennels.Picked up our dog Chester today after he had a week stay, can't thank the amazing staff enough!Chester looks amazing and was very content when I picked him up.Extremely happy with this kennel, they do such a wonderful job and truly care for the animals they look after, will definitely be using again!

We collected our cat after a 2 week stay and found a wound on his leg. I was told via email a few days prior that he had a scratch and that it was healing. Upon collecting him and a follow up call I was told they didn't know how it could have happened and recommended I take him to a vet. Very disappointed that my cat has come home with a wound that needs to be treated by a vet.

We chose Rilten Kennels for our Bullmastiff, Roxy as it meant she could have her own large run which would suit her activity level.The staff were very friendly, which also added to the reason we chose Rilten Kennels.Problems we encountered:- We asked for Roxy to wear a coat at night time (she stayed during winter) as she is used to sleeping indoors. The staff said that was not a problem and they would do that for us. Upon pick-up we were told 'she didn't need her coat'.- We supplied two toys for Roxy to enjoy while we were away and they remained untouched.- The website states 'any pooch that has stayed with us over 7 days will receive a complementary hydrobath and brush prior to their departure.' Roxy did not receive a bath/brush prior to us picking her up.While these issues seem small, we are disappointed as the staff told us these requests would be accommodated. On the day of our tour, we were told to bring bedding, toys, etc. to make our pet feel more at home. If these requests were too much, that should have been communicated to us.We do believe Roxy was safe and cared for throughout her stay at Rilton. However, we do not feel she received the quality of care that was promised to us on the day of our tour.

My golden retriever had a great stay here over Christmas/New Year. She was paired with another dog and all went well. I found the staff to be helpful, kind and patient. It was my dogs first stay and I couldn’t fault the experience. I will be booking again for Easter break. Thank you Darby especially for her knowledge and friendly nature.

Rilten Kennels have refused to honour their advertised price. Their website clearly says $36 per day for a large dog. There is a mention of higher rates for Christmas, but no mention of higher rates at other times. But when I asked about a seven week booking, I was told it straddled the September school holidays so a much higher rate would apply. I queried this and they said they would not honour the rate on the website because peak rates would apply, despite them not being mentioned anywhere. They even had the cheek to tell me to book through the website. I will take my custom to a kennels that does not try to cheat their customers.

These guys are incredible and I am so grateful to have come across them. They took amazing care of my kitten and Erin was absolutely wonderful. Prices are also extremely competitive and I truly know I can trust Rilten Kennels to take great care of my baby in future.Thank you so much and I will certainly be a returning customer!

Rilten Kennels took care of my two dogs for almost three weeks over the Christmas period while I was overseas. I received updates and photos of the dogs being looked after on two occasions while I was away, and both dogs were delivered home safely and looking very healthy.

Very poor experience for my dog’s stay in the kennel. He came back with an injury to his tail, we didn’t get told about this until the day of pick up. The end of his tail has to be removed because of this.He also has significant weight loss, about 4kg of his normal weight of 18kg.We didn’t received any apology for this, but a threat that I could be sue about the review I’m going to make here.I would not recommend this to anyone who cares for their pet.
