Bought flowers 11 days ago. They are still looking amazing. Service was amazing. Highly recommended. Best money spent on flowers ever!

My husband has been buying me flowers from here for a number of years. Every time he has been in the past he always comments on the lovely service by the lady (despite her failing eyesight she ALWAYS goes out of her way to make the bouquet look beautiful including the addition of a few ladybirds). Today was our wedding anniversary and my husband went here again but he said the normal lady that serves him wasn't there. I hope she is ok.

From the moment we entered to order flowers for my daughters 18th birthday , the male staff member was rude & abrupt with too much attitude . I was asked to pick up the flowers at 1030am . When I promptly arrived , the same rude staff member told me flowers not ready & its just on 1030 . He stated , in an exasperated tone ‘we have been busy ‘ . I was happy to wait , however his tone & the services was the worst I have encountered . No people skills & will never return . I would think in these difficult times , people would want the business .

Ordered a bunch of flowers for a friend's birthday and with little clue about flowers just asked that it be pretty and contain sunflowers. I was immediately blown away by the most beautiful bunch of flowers. I could tell a lot of care and pride was taken in creating this bunch. At such a difficult time for so many, it's the little things that mean so much. Thank you, I will be back!

Edit: This is an overdue update.Not long after the issue below was witnessed, there was a very sincere follow-up call to the affected person by a separate staff member, (for the sake of this review, she will be known as Z).Z, apologized with the most heart felt sincerity to the affected person, she even offered a gift, as there was absolutely no need for the below mentioned managers behavior, who I believe has since been relieved of his position.I am very happy to make this updated review, and even happier that the affected person received a compassionate follow-up call. It really does reflect the intended sincerity, and the wonderful service that Heidelberg Florist & Ireland Florist, provide. Thank you.Edit: Past Review Below.Disappointing. I witnessed from outside a coffee shop in Hawdon St, a male who seemed to be the manager of the florist around the corner, chasing customers down the street and calling the woman names. At a time when life and people are already divided, do we need horrible outbursts like this?

Very disappointing. I rang prior to visiting this florist as it's the Christmas-New Year period and I wanted to check what flowers they had in stock.The lady who answered the phone was very short with me and would not give any description of the flowers she had so then I tried to tell her I was looking for flowers for a death of a family friend and she stated that she didn't have time to listen to my story and was too busy.Incredibly poor customer service over the phone and that is even before entering the shop!

Popped in to get an affordable bunch for a friend. I could select a pre made native posy and have some flowers added to make it special. Service was lovely and prompt and gift wrapping included. Will definitely be back

Ordered an Orchid for my wife's birthday. Requested it be delivered on the morning of her birthday. Did not arrive. I needed to ring them but got the excuse the staff member was not on when I ordered.What arrived was a dead Orchid. Half the flowers have died and the leaves are dropping off.The florist was kind enough to replace the plant when alerted to the problem.

My Mothers' Day flowers wilted within hours of receiving them.I would not trust this business ever again.
