Wild Dog Creek Streamside Reserve

This is an amazing little hidden gem. The creek forms a little shallow estuary as it reaches the beach flowing under the Great Ocean Rd bridge. If you follow the Wild Dog Rd, you would come across a rock gorge, (hidden from view from the Great Ocean Rd). The rock formations are incredible, and the shadows as the sun sets behind the hills, gives the impression of movement. Unfortunately, there is no parking, nor is there a picnic ground or viewing deck. There are spots where you could park your car and walk down the edge into the creek. No designated paths though, just anywhere you find a gap in the bush. The creek has a rock base and it's below the road, the water is crystal clear and plenty of shade from the trees. I hope Council puts a small picnic area and off road parking along this reserve.
