Lovely venue. Loved how honest Sandy was with my hair. She did a great job on my hair and love my hair after the foils were done. Will be back.

This salon (Streakers Hair design) is actively using Pure brazilian, it is illegal in Australia. The chemical can cause immediate, short-term irritation of the eyes, skin, and upper respiratory tract. The longer-term risks of exposure are more troubling: The Environmental Protection Agency and federal OSHA classify formaldehyde as a suspected human carcinogen because of its links to nasal cancer and leukemia

Sandy and Anieta are beautiful people to deal with. They are professionals who are passionate about their work. I respect their honest and straight forward approach.

Sandy looks after my wife who unfortunately has dementia. Sandy and her mum and staff are kind and wonderful hairdressers. Very caring people.

Best salon I have every been to on the coast. I would recommend Sandy to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

Sandy is amazing. her sense of style, colour and peoples needs is A1. i absolutely love being at the salon. it is friendly, beautifully appointed and Anita and Sandy are just beautiful people. The best that the north Gold Coast has to offer by far.

Sandy provide a first class service and is passionate about her work. She goes out of her way to accomodate clients with busy schedules and has up-to-date techniques and styles. My girlfriend from Bundaberg recently came to stay for a weekend and to get her hair done by Sandy!

Extremely upset and disappointed with the whole experience and most especially the end result.I was NOT booked in properly at the start (I booked for a cut and balayage foils but was written down for a cut only) and was argued with about it. Being told NO you did not book in for that... ??I do fully understand that sometimes the clients wishes can be unrealistic or impossible to do with their particular hair. However this didn’t apply to me as I had spoken with other salons for quotes and opinions on the colours I wanted.Right from the beginning of me (trying to) describing the look and colouring of what I was wanting I was not listened to and was constantly talked over the top of. The ladies were only interested in me having what they wanted me to have. And one of them spent so long trying to convince me to have it their way in the end I had to tell her to stop.I should have stood up then, and followed my instinct that was telling me this is not going to end well. But I stayed. I had the foils. I ended up with my normal hair colour, and a few lighter bits mixed in.I was holding back tears because I paid $135 for a trim. I don’t have money for luxuries like this and saved for quite some time to have a new look for Christmas.It’s difficult for me to have to write this because I’m so upset and have never done something like this before.If you are going in to Streakers (P.P) with an idea that you would really like, be prepared to either be very firm or decide to have it done elsewhere.
