Myhome Essendon

Absolutely terrible. Set up regular cleaning service and the 1st clean was terrible so we called and complained, they were nice enough to provide a clean for free which their cleaners apparently did not bring equipment to clean my stove top so they left it, called them to provide feedback. For the 2nd scheduled clean they came on the wrong day, had no follow up call to set up again so I called to set up and then they didnt come. Do not recommend at all!

Steve the owner is fantastic. We've gotten our bond back on 3 occasions because they did a good job on the vacate clean

I thought the service was great. Team of 2 girls that were well presented and they brough all there own equipment. Also liked the tri colour system. My old cleaners always asked what l wanted cleaned these guys have there own system.

They have done 3 vacate cleans for us as renters - over a 5 year period - each time we've always gotten our bond back. Steve, the owner of the business is down to earth and a pleasant fellow. He is always very upfront about what needs doing. No - it's not cheap - but we've gotten our money's worth and it's saved us a lot of stress. They do a thorough job and always have two trustworthy young people with lots of energy working together. I'm contacting Steve today about doing a mid winter clean for us as we are now property owners. Thanks Steve and team for doing a great job each time.

These guys were good at the start however the cleaners are now doing half of what they should and you cannot ever get through to myhome Essendon to complain.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This is the worst cleaning company I have ever experienced. They charge more than double what other companies charge, positioning themselves as a premium service, but their service and level of cleaning is not even close to professional. I barely noticed the difference after they had been to my home, they turned up at the incorrect times and they managed to bleach and destroy our Sheridan bath mat. When I complained they were non-responsive and they continued to charge me after I cancelled. I struggled to get my money back and had to call and email multiple times.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

First time using this company and was very disappointed with the standard of cleaning. They came back again with the manager and fixed a few things they had left behind but still not a great job. Won’t ever recommend this company. They promise a lot but didn’t deliver and for what I paid not worth it and all the trouble. Agreed with another review about getting through the Essendon office- called multiple times with no response

I have been getting my spring cleans done from this company for the last couple of years. They are very thorough in their work and follow a proper system which ensures my house is left squeaky clean when they are done.Great value indeed!

Bad communication, poor cleaning. I cannot recommend.The quality of the clean very quickly deteriorated - although the first clean was thorough and good value (2 people for 2.5 hours), the second clean was far worse (missed several things, and by the third they were just phoning it in (didn't empty some bins, counters still had crumbs, missed vacuuming areas of floor).They wanted to charge $300 for the initial clean but relented and instead charged me the 4-weekly price of $165, even for the first clean. Reasonable value for 5 person-hours. The second clean was probably only 3 person-hours, and the third clean, the team of two came and went in under an hour!On top of this the communication was poor - unless it related to making a sale or getting paid! After the initial clean they just assumed that they would come back four weeks later, without ever stating such.They then showed up on the day without so much as a reminder or courtesy call/SMS. I was away on holidays so this didn't exactly work well. Same again for the third clean - I had to call to check whether they planned to come, and what time. A reminder SMS would seem to be prudent, and very little effort (it could even be automated).

I was extremely disappointed at the clean that was done at my daughters unit. Kaitlyn paid $290 for a Deep Clean to the bathroom as the walls were in need of this clean also cupboards and spot clean to the walls in the unit.We returned to the unit in the afternoon, it smelt very pleasant, however on viewing the bathroom I was extremely disappointed. The walls/floor had only been wiped over not deep cleaned. So I myself spent 2 hours on my hands and knees cleaning the walls and floor in the bathroom area.I called on Monday 30th April and spoke to a male person who said he would speak to the general manager and call back. It is now the 5th May and no call back. I asked that she be recompensed, not the full amount but a portion that was fair. I myself have a village in Western Australia and I expect a high standard of cleaning, I am very aware of this industry.I will await a phone call, if not received on Monday 7th May will call again and then take further. I will not be referring this company going forward.
