Really poor experience booked a wheelchair accessible room over the phone to ensure we booked the right room. Called each week to follow up on the confirmation email as it wasn't received to confirm the room was booked. Arrived and moved into an inaccessible room. Then moved to an even smaller inaccessible room. Still no refund on the room we booked for being moved into a tiny room. This also happened the first time we stayed there which is why we called this time.

Stayed 3 nights, very happy with clean comfortable rooms and view of pools and golf course from balcony. Really nice pool area and 2 swimming pools . Affordable food and great service from all staff. Would definitely stay again.

The best thing about this resort was the friendly, professional staff. The front desk staff are very welcoming and they made the check-in process really fast and easy. We stayed for three days in a self-contained studio that had everything we needed to make us feel at home. Our studio had a really large comfortable bed, washing machine and dryer, ensuite with a hot tub and a private balcony overlooking the golf course and swimming pools. We really enjoyed our stay here but next time I think we'll book for a week. Fantastic value!

Stayed at the resort for one night in Feb 2023. Starting with the good, the staff were absolutely lovely and there was a guaranteed parking space. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends. The location was okay, the exterior of the resort was undergoing maintenance so I'll give them a pass there, however the rooms were gross. There was a weird smell in the room, there were wine stains left behind from the previous guests, the outlet for the air con was mouldy, and the inside of the kettle was disgusting.Unfortunately, I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend this resort to others.

buckle up because this will be a big ol' reviewwe visited Pelican Waters Resort (PWR) 3 years ago initially and the standards were good ...back then it felt like a 4* resort, the place was clean, the staff were attentive and it just felt a bit better.3 years later we visit again and it's just gone down hill so much the door to the apartment had to be physically pulled short with force so every time you enter or exit you had to really slam / pull the door shutbut unfortunately that's just where the problems began. the apartment was in complete disaray, dirt and cobwebs everywhere.the bathroom mirror had what honestly looked like blood on it and not just 1-2 dots ....more like 30-40. and baked on dirt on the mirror as well.the general cleaniness of the apartment in general was pretty poor. myself and my wife both ended up with hives on our body in the morning upon waking up which we never get so can only assume is from something on the bed in the apartment.TV had permanent screen burn on it as well which isn't a huge issue but again just goes to show a lack of attention to detail and careweird little side issue .....you can't turn on the bedside lamps without the lounge lights being on....who decided that was a good idea?the bar downstairs we had a drink outside and there was swarms of ants everywhere.it just appears they've not been focusing on this 4* resort" anymore as there is no way it's a 4* standard anymore.some positives: pool was nice

Very clean and spacious for a motel type room. Much bigger than expected. Beds for two but only one chair?. Others great. But far from most things, could not walk to beach or shops would be the only downside. Good parking too.

On the outside, the place looks as if a lot of money was spent on building the resort. Fountains, mine decorative pools, and a cafe. At the back of the resort, there's a pool where my family and I spent most of our time during our stay. The pools are great, especially for families as there is a kiddie pool, a regular pool (connected to the kiddie pool), and a heated pool. The decor in our room was amazing. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. But after around about 15-30 minutes of us being in the room, we realized how absolutely disgusting the place was. the floors were very obviously not cleaned before we arrived as there was grime in between the tiles in the bathroom and the kitchen. In the kitchen, grime completely covered the place where you were supposed to grab to open the cupboard. Mold in the corners of the shower, dirt stains(?) On one of the curtains, and food in the corners of the stove. We were also supposed to get a room cleaning service in the middle of our stay but all they did was change the towels. There weren't any brooms/mops to clean the room so we ended up having to ask reception for a pan and brush. My family and I most likely won't be coming back again.

Me and my partner stayed for about 3 weeks and on the first week we got woken up by the fire alarm at 4am (which was out of everyone’s control). At first the room looked nice but once we got into the bathroom there was a weird smell coming from the shower and we noticed that there was stains all over the tile walls and limescale on the shower head. The shower worked quite nice and had good pressure though. My boyfriend did hurt him self getting up in the shower after bending down to grab something on the shower handle because the edges was too sharp. For the money we spent at this hotel they gave us a little kettle to use and no microwave to heat food up with (we were told that we can go down to the kitchen and it can be heated there but it closes at 8pm) and was told that we had to clean (dishes included) and take out the trash or else we would be charged a cleaning fee. They did have room service for dinner but it was only for pizzas and drinks you can’t do that for breakfast or lunch. Each week we had to get a wifi card because they expired after a week. I do have to say the staff were lovely but I think some of the rooms in this resort needs to be updated

Have only seen it from our friends apartment next door. It's under refurbishment, and i understand things need to progress, but why, oh, why do they always have to rip up 100s of trees and displace the wildlife to do so. We used to watch the Roo's from our friends balcony. Now there's just a huge building site where what looks like 100s of new homes are being built. Sometimes, progress can be very cruel.

NOT a 4 star resort. Maybe in 1990 but not by todays standards. The hotel's at the end of a drive to nowhere. The staff are wonderful but management needs to reinvest into the building, specifically the horribly outdated bathrooms. Lots of full time residents that smoke on their balconies or in NO SMOKING areas, staff do nothing about it. Would not recommend this place unless you're golfing nearby
