We recently had our old (non-SolarEdge) system removed and replaced with a SolarEdge 7.2 kW system.We are already producing double what the the old system produced.The monitoring app is excellent. It's easy to read and since its live, it has given us a chance to fine-tune our electrical usage according to the best time of day.I wish I had upgraded earlier or even had gone with SolarEdge originally. We have a 10kW SolarEdge system installed on our house, and it is absolutely wonderful. We dont use all the energy from the system, so decided to buy an electric car and now use the spare energy to power our Nissan Leaf.. as a result we now we have a very small energy bill, and our petrol costs have also reduced significantly. Great product, hasn't missed a beat and the monitoring app makes the system super easy to use. Would highly recommend the product to anyone.

AVOID. Solar edge inverter failed more than 7 months ago. Still awaiting the right parts. No communication, and seemingly no customer service!

My installer installed the SolarEdge system but informed me that SolarEdge had no stock of monitors. No ETA could be given even though paid for.I called SolarEdge and confirmed that SolarEdge was having issues with stock supply of inverters, monitors etc.Put that down to external factors. System is now working fine and after sales tech support has been excellent!Money well spent.

Not happy Jan. Our inverter died randomly after a few years. However, no alert occurred. No contact from the installer or solar edge to inform us the system was down and we only found out after our electricity provider notified us. We then found out via the app that the system had been down for 2 weeks without our knowledge.For a system that wasn’t cheap and hyped up its monitoring capabilities this is simply not good enough. To make matters worse, upon calling our installers we were told they can see the panels however we as owners cannot, and to add insult to injury we were told that solar edge charges a $300 fee to give owners access to the panels connectivity.Finally to top it off, trying to contact solar edge is like trying to split and atom. No phone support in Australia for owners with the only option to email or log a support request but logging a request isn’t straight forward either and once a request is made the solar edge waiting game begins. Two weeks and counting.Now to be fair, our installers have organised a replacement under warranty but we now have zero faith in the inverters reliability and more importantly being notified of any future failures.

I purchased the updated Solar Edge inverter (the upgraded one to the standard inverter on offer by my solar installer) and I must say I regret every cent I spent.4 Years in and the so called premium Solar Edge inverter has stopped working with error codes. Solar Edge have advised it is covered under warranty however it has been a month now and the inverter still has not been shipped out to me.I have missed out on a lot of solar production and at the same time have amassed a huge electricity bill.This is real poor customer service and product also seems to be sub quality and is marketed as premium".When the inverter stopped working I received no notifications from company and only found out when I looked at my electricity bill online!!!Avoid this company at all costs

We are a local solar company in Wodonga Victoria. We have been selling the SolarEdge Product from the first day we opened. The ease of installation and extremly low fault rate it has been our go to product. We love selling the product to our customers because we know the client is getting a really good product at a reasonable price. It also has so many more features that other products do not offer. The online monitoring is the best on the market. Offering a 12yr full manufacters warranty is just another bonus. We could not be happier with SolarEdge. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.
