John did an awesome job with our knife set, that I am sad to say had never been sharpened in the 15 years of owning them. He was very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. Next time I drop them off I might have to ask for some advice on using a steel.

1000% reccommend! John did an amazing job sharpening and dressing my 5 butcher knives, and on top of that, spent time teaching me how to maintain these fantastic edges! A wealth of knowledge and truly lives up to his business name. I just couldn't believe how John transformed the knives and the pair of scissors I gave him to sharpen. Cutting now with the knives he has sharpened is like putting a knife through butter. John also gives you a quick lesson on how to maintain your knives and how to use the sharpening steel. I strongly recommend John to sharpen your knives. You will not disappointed. I guarantee.

Great quality knives with an excellent, durable edge. He was very communicative and went above and beyond to help me out at last minute on a Friday afternoon. I always appreciate when a business owner is sympathetic to country folk being on odd schedules up in Perth. He took the time to coach me on my steeling technique so that I could keep my knives in better condition for longer - great service! I have used a few competitors in the past but will now only return to knifeman.
