Have been using for 4 years. Satisfactory until COVID hit and the regular person quit. Since then 3 more cleaners, they all quit, the most recent one came only once then gave up. Now I've been assigned a great" replacement cleaner however no one has called me or asked for my agreement

We were very happy with our cleaner Anne who helped us out immensely with a 5hr spring clean in our 2 storey home before our 1st bub is expected to arrive in 6 days from now. She was very professional and a pleasure to meet. We would definitely be more than happy to recommend her and absolute domestics to our friends and family.

This cleaning company uses 'independent contractors' so they can't provide tax invoices or receipts. There is something highly unethical about the way they operate. I was told I needed to ask the cleaner - who was paying a sizable fee for every clean she performed to Absolute Domestics - for a receipt. The cleaner had no idea of what to do and was quite stressed about tax implications. She received no support whatsoever from Absolute Domestics in learning about how to manage such things. I felt so bad for the cleaner, but I cannot support what looks very much like modern slavery, so I terminated the service. I recommend that anyone using this cleaning company who cares about how workers are treated and compensated for their labours do the same.Edited to add: see below for the managing director's completely inappropriate response.Domestic cleaning IS a tax deduction in a number of circumstances, including working from home (which we do) and Airbnb (which we also do). While it is true that being registered for GST is not a requirement of every 'independent contractor', the parent company, which receives part of the cleaning fee - which is paid by the client to the cleaner and passed on to the parent company - most certainly is required.I will not be calling a 1300 number to be placed on hold as per my last experience at contacting your office.You can deal with my complaint through the relevant authorities.

Hopeless! A one star rating is generous for this company. I requested a 2 hour clean for a 2 bedroom unit with a week's notice, the cleaner they 'assigned' me never called & didn't answer their calls. Then Absolute Domestics called to advise they were still looking for a cleaner for me a week later. Forget it! Understand these are challenging times finding staff but don't take booking requests if you can't fulfil them. I would never use this company again.

We organised a 4hr move out clean of a well maintained, 80m 2 bed apartment with vinyl flooring throughout. Had no communication to advise if the 4 hour slot would be adequate and then received a 9hour invoice. I would not recommend using this business and I certainly will not use them again.
