Khool Hair and Beauty Park Ridge

Pros= consault promising, coffee great, good conversation, clean salon, no upsell on products.Con= price way over what was first told and no difference to service from booking to chair, hair colour was that light on you couldn't even tell I had any foil work done ( husband questioned me on actually having hair done when i came home) regrowth looked the same as when I came in, the few foils you could see looked like a stair case, low lights where non existent, hair cut was just snip along the back, throw a blow dryer through and call it a day, was never asked how I like to where my hair or how I like it styled, ( I believe they where wanting to close on time and really didn't g.a.f of how I felt as a client)Conclusion= 3 weeks post app $340 down and have a huge regrowth no low lights and hair cut looks like mushroom x lord farquard and have to get it redone else where. Moral of the story speak up before you leave ,question pricing and don't book afternoon colour work.I do believe it's a good place but be firm with what you want.

I Said cut back to middle of my mouth and she proceeded to cut to half way up my noseWanted Johnny Depp esk, left with a tuft ofgrass growing out the top , didn't even try toblend in the top to the undercut so it looks like I have two different cuts and for 36 dollars? Yikes, I would rather buy a maccas family box, gamble the other 10 dollars and then cut my hair myself. I have now come back to the review page in hopes of submitting another one just to double down on how bad this place is so people know not to come but alas I shall have to make do

I feel so lucky to have come across this salon many months ago. It seemed every time I found a hairdresser I was happy with, they'd move or I'd move. I met up with the incredible Sarah (who only works at this salon on Mondays) as it suited my pension day. She, Emily and Kirsty are an amazing team! Sarah is professional, friendly and has a delightful personality. I always come away feeling a 'million dollars.' I love her style cutting and 'finishing'. I am extremely happy with my hair colour and they are always willing to offer advice. Sarah has been my 'lifesaver', as at my age, (78) many salons carry on with so much garbage, eg. (what are WE doing today"

I walked into store on Saturday afternoon at 2:25pm as I saw that there was nobody in store. Young girl was sweeping and the other girl was doing something with her eye lashes in mirror. I asked if store was sill open and the young girl said yes, until 3pm. I then asked if I could have a quick trim and was told NO as they were doing the end of day cleaning and was not even offered to make an appointment at another time. I am all for supporting local business but find it hard to do when this happening. This is the second time I have been refused service by this place within the last half our of their trading time. The first time was for an eye brow wax.

Worst haircut I have ever had in my life. Hacked & horrible leaving my hair uncontrollable have to use styling lotion to control the fanning out from my head $91 wasted. Now I have to pay Stefan salon approx $100 to rectify the hacked haircut". I have photos to prove it. Original haircut Asian Hairdresser Gold coast perfect haircut $10. I asked for short hair cut brush back thats what I got for Asian hair stylist Gold Coast for $10."

Have been to Khool a couple of times and was quite happy. However the last time was different. The hairdresser didn't listen to what I wanted and did what she wanted. She didn't consult with me and by the time I realized what she was doing it was too late. Also cut my hair way to short. Not what I asked for. Very disappointing. Cancelled my next appointment and found somewhere else to go.

Worst hair salon we ever found. We do not recommend anyone to try this hair salon.
