Emily Clothing Alterations

Happy to say - this is my second time using Emily's Alterations. I had my 3 x work pants adjusted. Had small issue with length but Emily was quick to say just bring it back and it was rectified. Simple & Quick Service.

Emily always does good work. This is abot the 3rd or 4th time I've got Emily to hem up my pants.

Great service and fair prices.

She was so rude as if I was getting it all done for free. And clothes were just all over the place and disorganised, took a while to find my pair of jeans. Went around the second time thinking maybe she was having a bad day, but pretty much the same, outright rude.

If I could rate with a 0 I would. Service is atrocious, not friendly, not welcoming. I should have gone with my gut instinct when I took my blazer in to have it altered 09/12/2022. The service I recieved that day was like I was an inconvenience as she had things to do. I was advised it would cost $50 to have my blazer altered, the lining had shrunk causing the bottom of the blazer to be out of shape. I agreed to leave my blazer as I was unable to fix myself as I was informed that the jacket would have to be unpicked cut and restitched.I collected my jacket 16/12/2022, paid the $50 and after leaving and showing my mother in law we noticed that all the excess lining has been folded up into the jacket causing bunching and looking out of shape. We re-entered the shop to enquire, the lady had a look of disgust. We were told that's how it's supposed to look and that the excess is from the pockets on the jacket. We showed the lady that the pockets weren't open, she then grabbed half of the jacket and said you can unpick the pockets". My mother in law had stepped in to see how she was unpicking the pockets and the lady looked up at her and said 'move back'. The lady then unpicked a little more and then flung the jacket at me and said "here

Got some spotlight off the shelf curtains taken up and they turned out great, half the price or less of buying custom sizes. Quick, easy and reasonably priced no complaints

Didn't Want to do my small job refitting new Velcro on leg wraps for winter 2pairs of leg wraps and I supplied new Velcro So quoted excessively high $$$100+ for this job Do not recommend

Took my suit jacket as the sleeves were to long and need to be shortened, i picked up my jacket and it looked ok but when I got home I realised she had sown the 4 bottons back on wirh the stitches which were done on the outside of the lining inside of the sleeves. The stitches were all over the place. When i sent a photo to her and told her I was unhappy with the job , she told me thats the way we do it, and said there on the inside anyway. I got charged $48 and received no apology just rudeness. I would not recommend this business.

Emily has been of paramount assistance in helping to repair some faulty stock for my business. Her work is of the highest quality, professional service and affordable price. I have tried other alteration places but nothing comes close to the quality of Emily’s work. We are extremely grateful to have found her.
