I'm on the road for work all the time, a whole lot of long distance. Was on my way through Armidale and came straight to Tim and the team to sort out my brakes and a full service, in and out on the day. Tim was a legend to deal with. Definitely recommend

We had a really great experience with this garage. While on a driving touring trip, our car had some issues north of Tamworth. We rang a garage in Armidale and were told all mechanics in town were really busy and probably wouldn't be able to help - but suggested we try John Fowler.They were fantastic - took the car in for checking straight away, ran some diagnostics and concluded after 30 mins that all seemed well and we were able to go on our way reassured, after this complementary service.Really nice people too. John Fowler Automotive & Engine Reconditioning had very friendly staff with great customer service. I informed them that my Nissan's engine splash shield was missing a clip and they fixed it within minutes free of charge :)

I find their service, their can do" approach and their overall willingness to go out of their way truely refreshing in this industry. Their pricing is always fair. I'm very greatful to Tim and the team at Subaru especially to his friendly receptionist. I was heading home from Tamworth towards the north coast meaning I'd have to drive over the ranges. My car started making very concerning noises and I wasn't comfortable travelling over the ranges with it. I dropped into the shop, about lunchtime on a Friday mind you and asked would someone mind taking a look at it and just let me know it was safe to drive home. Within 10 minutes Tim took my keys and took the car for a drive, within 15 minutes he had it up on the hoist diagnosing the problem. Not only did he thoroughly check it out, he referred me to and booked me in to a local exhaust expert who was able to have me back on the road within the hour! I am very greatful to Tim and his team who went above and beyond to help out a lone traveller on a Friday afternoon, and all this whilst down a mechanic! Highly recommended and I would never hesitate to take the car back there again! I have even considered taking it there for regular services. Thanks so much to Tim and the team for your outstanding service Much appreciated!

This business offers great service. I drive 180 km to get there. I go past other Subaru dealers because this business has been so good to me offering servicing, diagnosing problems and under taking warranty, all with a minimum of fuss

Got a geniune brake part in 2 days. Easy Peazy.
