What a great park for enjoying picnic, beach, fishing, boating! It contains restaurants, mini grocery and a great kids’ playground too!

Idyllic grassy prk on a clam beach. Great for BBQs, kids and kayaks. Gets very busy on summer weekends and public holidays

Excellent beach area. Lots of grass area for picnics, nice beach area. Ideal for paddle board & kayaks at the south end. Clean restrooms. Restaurant & cafe both good food options.

Balmoral Park
Balmoral Park is really a very good place to spend a day since it is well maintained park which is facilitated with restaurant and toilets with shower. There are beaches on either side of the arch bridge. There is a small island where you can go by crossing the arch bridge. The area is quite big. Good place for picnicking, swimming or simply reading a book.

Serene beach and grass next to the water. Easy access mid-week and plenty of (pay and display) parking. Watch for aggressive gang of five Kookaburras- they can spot a prawn cutlet at 50 paces... picture of culprits below.

The right hand side of the water very polluted because of the boats station there. I think I got an ear infection there.

Great beach, dog friendly! Not the sand but the way the grass and trees over hang the beach it's great for them. The beach has no waves and pretty calm. There is a netted area. Showers are spread out all along the beach. Parking is dear but there is a lot of turn so you do get spots.
