Red Rooster is a popular fast food chicken restaurant that has been around for many years. However, my recent visit was far from enjoyable.The restaurant was extremely dirty, with food and trash on the floor. The tables were sticky and the chairs were covered in crumbs. The decor was outdated, and there was an unpleasant odor throughout.The food was not much better. The chicken was dry and overcooked, and the sides were soggy and flavorless. The fries were greasy and tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. The staff was unhelpful and seemed more concerned with chatting amongst themselves than helping customers.I was also disappointed by the prices. For the amount of food you get, the prices are too high. It is definitely not worth the cost.Overall, my experience at Red Rooster was terrible. The food was not good, the service was poor, and the prices were expensive. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

There are table n chairs but not accommodated to sit and eat, no plates or cups provided with order, it's basically takeaway only. They can give cutlery though but you have to eat at the table from the box the food comes in, an experience, but not again.Chicken was overdone or oil too old, something wasn't nice about this deep fried chicken.Expensive for what you get. A big fries box was filled halfway but charged for big size fries. Overall the food gets 2 star for employee efforts

Last time I went here they had no chips or nuggets for the day and it was probably only 11am. No chips at Red Rooster... Today I thought I'd give them another try and they had a sign up saying closed due to unforeseen circumstances. Sinking ship. It's a shame because I love the chicken at Red Rooster.

Ordered a whole roast chicken to take away over the counter. Waited too long then was asked “roast”? and handed a paper bag. Drove away and the “roast” I was given was a container of soggy roast vegetables. Got too far in traffic to turn around. Make sure you check the bag before you drive away. Don’t trust their competence.

The pineapple fritter is worth the trip to Red Rooster alone. Always delicious. I would give 5 stars if they brought back the banana fritter!

Ordered online, checked in. After 25 minutes they gave my order to someone else. I saw it and challenged but the staff insisted it was theirs. They have no screen with order progress. They never call out names or order numbers, just online order" and they get mixed up."

Highly recommend for those that like a medieval mace slammed violently into their taints. From the surly, Kelly Leak from Bad News Bears style dirtbag on the window, to the artic temperature chips, to the arid chicken smothered in some sort of chilli infused nuclear waste .... this joint is a real treat.

Ordered three chicken legs and chips through drive through on Sunday evening. Not only did I not receive legs but three pieces of I didn't recognise and cooked in old fat. I had to look for any chicken and ended up throwing it all away except for the chips.Worst take away I have ever experienced.

The store was understaffed as all tables were filthy dirty with food scraps on them. But staff serving were very helpful & curtious with their service & food preparation
