I been a customer for this Chemist for couple of years now,,,best team,great advice and exceptional customer service and care specially from Nermine,,the pharmacist that works there..always takes time to advise and cares so much…I always go back to see her,,,also Lydia the store manager is amazing and caring ♥️♥️♥️

Terrible customer service and this is the last time going there. we use to buy everything from here, went to get the drivers licence certified, the pharmacist said no as they are too busy. then went to EVE central chemist and they done it happily and took 2 minutes.not coming here any more

My experience today at The Avenue store was appalling. I was in the store with my baby in pram, browsing the La Roche Posay products. The packaging for these products is scarcely in English and the boxes don’t depict wether the product is tube or bottle. With diligence I opened a box to check what was inside. The worker who was unboxing in the isle, felt it necessary to approach me and ask if there was something wrong with the boxes?! From there she continued to address me as though I was causing damage to the boxes and she cannot resell. I was guilty before I’d even done anything wrong. She continued to bait me back and forth as I explained that I was not damaging any boxes and just making sure what I was purchasing was what I was wanting. She continued as though she had a lot to say! I was not standing for this kind of treatment. She said she wanted to get her manager and I said ok. She came charging out with her manager in tow, as though she was a person on a mission. The discussion with the manager was reasonable but the store person had a raised voice and an unnecessary aggressive tone. The manager seemed a reasonable person however this worker was incredibly forceful and rude. I felt I copped the brunt of her bad morning or the anger she has which should be directed at customers who are seen visibly damaging boxes. But I did not damage the boxes. Very unfair and completely unreasonable way to treat someone not doing anything wrong. I didn’t catch the store persons name as I don’t think they wear name badges. Just a lanyard. Very bad.

Don’t go here if you need anything urgently! I’m on blood thinners due to clots in my lungs (which caused me to pass away for a few seconds last year). I’d been going to this Chemist Warehouse for about 4-5 months, and needed an urgent supply of blood thinners as I’d run out last night (I can’t miss a dose).Walked in with my licence, and because “I hadn’t been there regularly for three months”, the pharmacist refused to give me the emergency supply even after I’d told them I would get them a script in the afternoon and explained the situation and urgency. Absolutely no empathy, no care in the world that a missed dose for me is a matter of life and death and don’t get me started on them ignoring the fact I had been going there for 4-5 months, so an emergency supply shouldn’t have been a problem.Ended up going to my old pharmacist (Amcal) back in Rowville, it’s a trek but completely worth it.

Rude sales consultants very reluctant to open the glass cabinets for scent testing. My son and I had to tell them which one we wanted, so they could get them out. If I knew which one I wanted I would have asked them to get it for me, rather than ask to TEST them. I wouldn't recommend buying from this store. They make you feel like a criminal.

PLEASE do not go to this place! We have had a terrible experience and I don’t want others to experience the same thing! My 4 year old had croup on Sunday 20th of February and needed urgent medication, which the after hours emergency doctor had prescribed and emailed to this chemist. It was 9.30pm at the time and all the other chemists were closing, so we thought this place would be the best option. My husband arrived and was advised by the pharmacist that they don’t accept emailed scripts from doctors. The doctor then called the chemist to verify the script and he still wouldn’t accept it. My husband then had to travel to Berwick to a chemist who luckily helped him 5 minutes before they closed.This chemist disregarded the urgency that a child needed this medication that night as he was struggling to breathe and the doctor advised we couldn’t wait until morning. Being the only 24 hour chemist in the area, I would have expected that they would show some sort of empathy and compassion in their job. This pharmacist was rude to my husband and rude to the doctor. The doctor advised they have never experienced someone rejecting a script sent by her.I will be taking this complaint further as I don’t want others to go through this, especially when you have sick children at home needing urgent medicine. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional service!

Masood, the pharmacist, and the younger blonde girl with glasses were fantastic. I have a sick daughter at home with certain symptoms, and they listened to me and my wife over the phone and recommended the correct medicine

Eric at perfumes was excellent!He took the time to go through our budget, the type we wanted an then bases on a few testers recommend one that was fantastic !Amazing Customer Service .... that's how it should be. Thanks Eric.

Disgusting customer service. Waited 40 minutes to fill a script when told “10-15 min wait”. Wanted my prescription a few days early and they treated me like some kind of junkie when I explained that I lost a box and needed some. I understand the protocol but the way I was being treated as if I was a druggie when all I wanted was my prescription filled so I leave. The store was so warm it wasn’t at least 40 degrees in there and I couldn’t breathe. They literally held my prescription hostage and said come tomorrow and we’ll talk to your doctor. Gave me an emergency 2 pills and charged me full price. Absolute BS and ruined my night. I’d rather die than come in this store again.
