Thanks to Waverley Floorworld for replacing the carpet at our office at a reasonable price and in a timely manner.There was some miscommunication and I did not realise that we had to vacate the office of furniture prior to the installation of carpet which was my fault. As a result, I received a call from Waverley Floorworld on the day of installation at 9am advising that there would be extra charges incurred and they would advise me of the charges soon. In the morning, and again at noon, the carpet installer and myself moved a few items of furniture together, i.e. reception desk, 2x small IKEA desks, a mini fridge, and a desk with roller wheels, and a few miscellaneous items such as reams of paper and bins, in total, taking approximately 25 minutes in the morning and noon combined. At approximately 11am, I received an email from Waverley Floorworld advising that the charges would be $558 for the movement of the furniture (by the installer AND myself) which we believed to be excessive, and had we known that this were to be the case, we would have not gone with this option. I did not realise that the email had come through until late afternoon when Michelle called me to advise of the charges around 3pm on the phone and by this time everything had already been moved.Michelle advised on the phone that the $558 would be for myself and the carpet installer working together, whereas they could send out another person for an extra charge of around $200 on top of the $558 if I couldn't do it (I don't recall the number, but it was over $200 for an additional person). Steve then later clarified that the $558 would involve the furniture being moved back in place afterwards as well. We ended up coming to agreement that the furniture did not need to be moved back by the installer and Steve then asked if I would be happy if the charge were to be dropped from $558 to $200.I was advised that the charge was high as Waverley Floorworld is a company that specialises in flooring, and not that of moving furniture, and that they would have to pay costs to insure their contractor, however it is a bit hard to come to terms considering that it took only a short amount of time (less than 25 minutes combined) to move the pieces of furniture (reception desk, 2x ikea desks, a mini fridge, a desk with roller wheels) and also that it was done with our assistance, not just their installer, and the fact that they did not have to send any additional people out or use any special tools or anything to disassemble the furniture.The carpet installation was done well, but a bit of miscommunication made the experience on the day less than ideal. We were surprised to receive a high charge for the movement of the furniture on the day by the installer WITH my assistance, and had we known about the charges earlier, we would have not had Waverley Floorworld's contractor assist us in moving the furniture.

Above and beyond for customer service! I am in the process of renovating my apartment and wanted to put laminate flooring throughout. I had planned to just get everything from Bunnings but was recommended Mount Waverley Floorworld. Jenny took me through all my options, gave me all the information I needed and I ended up with great quality flooring at a great price. I had planned to pick up the stock myself however there was a slight delay with delivery to the warehouse which meant I could no longer collect, so Jenny arranged for delivery to my address. I highly recommend Mount Waverley Floorworld.

I approached Waverley Floorworld for an alternate quote on blinds and window shutters for my 2 new townhouses after getting a quote from an interior decorator, which I felt was a bit over the top. Jenny came and inspected my houses and helped me make practical choices regarding what was required for each different window. The pricing was competitive so I went with them. In the middle of repeated Covid 19 lockdowns Floorworld, Mt Waverley supplied and installed carpet on our staircase. As promised they did our job as soon as restrictions were lifted and trades people were allowed to do job in properties. Everything, starting from measurement and quote, selection of carpet and delivery and installation, was completed with excellent customer care and transparency. Michelle and Jennifer from sales and store management and Mark (who laid the carpet) did excellent job. Jennifer kept us informed about progress every step of the way. Great service and location next to Mount Waverley train station with plenty of nearby parking and loads of stock. Store manager very friendly and even found what I needed in the stockroom. Recommended.
