Prime Tourist Park - Adult Only & Pet Friendly

My husband and I and our Whippet, Hastings, have just enjoyed a week’s stay at Prime Pet Friendly Tourist Park - our second stay at this wonderful caravan park - and cannot praise or recommend it highly enough!The owners, Sandi and Darryl, are so friendly and accommodating, as are their staff. The amenities and facilities are always spotlessly clean and the park beautifully well-kept. In addition, it is perfectly placed for a short walk to shops, great cafes, the boardwalk and the beach.We particularly appreciate what Darryl and Sandi are offering with their unique park experience, that being pet-friendly, with so many carefully thought-out facilities for dogs, and child-free - with me working in education and us being parents of now-adult children, we love children dearly but value having our holiday time without their constant exuberance! It also creates a nice, friendly atmosphere having others around who enjoy holidaying with their dogs.On this stay, we had a particularly scary situation where our Whippet got away from us in a split second of inattention, then got scared and ran out of the park and across the road, heading who-knows-where in his panic; thankfully he was caught relatively quickly with no further calamity. Aside from being a very good example of why your dog should be on a leash every second when outside, this also showed the care and empathy of the owners, staff and also fellow guests. Thank you so much to Sandi, who helped retrieve our dog, to Pam who was so caring to us and our dog in our fright, and to other guests who assisted and comforted.This will definitely not be our last stay at Prime; we have already been talking about when we will camp there next! We will also continue our personal recommendations for this great park - we tell everyone about the unique experience on offer here - as we think it is fantastic!

Loved our stay once again. Owners Sandy and Darryl along with Pam make you feel really welcome from check in to check out. Kid free for us is just perfectThe park itself has everything you need for your dogs including doggy day care. Amenities are kept spotless and free live music.Within walking distance to the Main Street and beaches. There is also an amazing off leash dog park close by.Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great park with a friendly atmosphere and very reasonably priced.

We stayed four nights in our camper trailer. Literally 500 metres from the shopping area and beach. Many places say they are pet friendly, but Prime truly means it. We travel with our 10 year old pug and she absolutely loved it. The nights were quiet because the dogs were all well behaved and cared for. The powered site was large enough to easily accommodate our annex and small dog fence. The facilities were very clean, but in the future, a larger and better equipped camp kitchen would be an advantage. If you value a quiet, easy holiday close to everything Lakes Entrance has to offer, this is a perfect place. The hosts were friendly and unobtrusive.

Lovely place to visit. Owner are extremely friendly and nothing is a problem. As I am in a wheelchair I found it easy to get around and close to everything. Easy walk or push to shops, restaurants and clubs. Our puppy loved it as much as we did. Can’t wait to come back again.

Great friendly owners Sandi and Darryl, nothing is too much for them to make your stay a good one. Very efficient. It's clean and well maintained. Prices are great and Great emphasis is placed on customer satisfaction, no wonder they are so busy. Pets are so welcome and well catered for, with a dog minding service during the day. This was great, they have a dog wash and even a leash free dog run.Thoroughly recommend themAdults only so we didn't have to worry about kids running around. Highly recommend staying there especially if you have pets.

Gorgeous little dog friendly park only meters from the main chunk of town.After staying in a lot of different accommodations, me and my partner were surprised with all the extra little bits they added on and gave us to benefit our comfort. One of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in.Another big bonus was the quietness of the park.#no kids for life

Fantastic setup, off dog leash area, coin operated dog wash, seperate washing machine for dog bedding etc. loved the whole place, we had our own ensuite next to our van and it was just amazing. The park was so clean and well maintained and Sandi and Daryl were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. Our dogs were so relaxed and happy. We highly recommend staying here if you want a peaceful relaxing place to call home base while you explore beautiful Lakes Entrance and it’s gorgeous surrounds. Thank you for having us, we will definitely rebook with you again next time our travels bring us back that way.

Prime is a fabulous park - great facilities, close to shops/cafes/attractions of Lakes Entrance. Sandi and Daryl are doing a great job catering to pet owners and their furry friends, with amazing comfort and attention to detail in the luxury hypoallergenic cabin. We had a great time with our Aussiedoodle (Bubble), including recommended local dog parks and eateries. Thanks folks … We’ll be back!

My husband and I, both in late 60’s spent a week at the park and found it to be friendly and well maintained. Easy walk to the Esplanade, shops and beach which our 2 dogs enjoyed while hubby explored fishing places.An enjoyable and relaxing stay

Stayed for 4 nights over Easter. I love this park. Also stayed for 3 weeks at Christmas. Very friendly owners Sandy & Daryl make sure you have a great site for your Caravan. Very Very Dog friendly. Close to everything and you can walk everywhere.I think I have stayed there 5 times now and I will be back as soon as I can. Thanks guy's.
