Spencer & Rutherford

Nice bags however I've had 2 so far and with both found the trims have disintegrated! I'm currently removing the black patent plastic trim which is falling apart (leaving a trail of mess everywhere the bag goes) and replacing it since the rest of the bag is in good shape. JUST WISH THEY'D USE QUALITY MATERIALS to decorate instead of nasty plastic rubbish which falls apart.

I used to be a big buyer of Spencer and Rutherford bags but stopped some years ago. I bought a bag for the first time in years about a month ago, have only used a few times and it has fallen apart. Walking around Sydney with a bag that was falling apart made me look quite silly. I have asked for a refund on email and expected a quick response. I have now gone through their facebook to see if they will accept responsibility. I would have thought the customer service would have been better and the quality better.

I love Spencer and Rutherford bags and have been collecting them for over 15 years. Their bags have beautiful detailing, luxurious textured and patterned fabric panels, top quality leather and gorgeous colours. Their designs are unique - so different to the majority of plain coloured leather bags produced by most other brands. I really don't need any more handbags but I just can't help myself each time Spencer and Rutherford release a new season! Highly recommend.
