We ordered the lemon meringue pancakes for breakfast . They looked absolutely amazing but lacked flavor which was a disappointment . We had this type of pancakes before at Padbury's in Guildford and it just doesn't even come close . Service was excellent coffee was amazing .

Food was great, however service was very poor. We were shown to our table and then didn’t have water provided or our order taken for another 20 minutes. Took 35 minutes for our coffees to arrive and we’d all finished our mains by that point. They bought out the magic mushroom dish and it wasn’t vegan as requested. The waitress tried to tell us to just take off the eggs and bacon, which were already dripping into the mushrooms and bread, only after a few attempts to make us take it did she say that she would get the kitchen to make another.

We didn’t have a booking, staff still gave us a good table with a nice view! Had a couple of cocktails before we start our dinner. Friendly waiter offer us Gin tasting which we loved it since they are using WA Local Craft Gin. Food is good and reasonable price. Service was excellent! Overall lovely experience! What a perfect way to end the year!

Location is opposite Scarborough beach.Parking is a bit of a walk so give yourself time to get there on time.You will need to book as we did and confirm your booking as we did. We were running late and arrive 16 minutes late, we did try to ring but the phone number supplied on the website was not connected. On arrival we apologised for being late and informed them we tried to ring, they admitted the phone was not connected. The waitperson then told us because we were late our booked table was given away, we protested as we had tried to ring, the waitperson reassured us and gave us a table in the reserved area.It wasn’t long after we were seated a bottle of cold water was on our table with glasses.A comfortable time later the waitperson asked for our order.We ordered an extra hot flat white and an iced coffee with no cream but ice cream. Both were what we ordered, extra hot as well as very nice flavoured.We ordered the “Padburys Hash” substituting the bacon for pork sausages and the “Smashed that Avo” specifying the poached eggs to have the whites cooked thru with runny yoke.The Padburys Hash was excellent.The hash reminded us of breakfast in Hawaii, a big Hash of grated potatoes crispy on the outside, eggs were cooked to perfection, tasty pork Sausage and the tomato relish was yummy not too chilli hot. I recommend this one!The Smash that Avo was also excellent, lots of avocado , poached eggs cooked to perfection on sour dough bread.The waitperson came over and cleared away our plates with no fuss.Prices were very reasonable and in my opinion great value for a tasty, well portioned breakfast.The inside of the restaurant is stylish, clean and the crockery is unique giving a nice vibe to the experience.It was very busy yet the staff were excellent in timing, efficiency and service. The food was cooked as per our requests, fresh, tasty and unique.Overall I could not fault our experience and highly recommend breakfast at Cleopatras in Scarborough.I’ve mentioned specifics more than I normally do as I was reading other reviews after we left and can honestly say our experience was excellent in every way, compared to what others had written.Well done to all the staff and the chefs.One of the best in Perth for breakfast!

Had a brilliant breakfast here. Food is excellent and well presented. Lemon meringue pancakes were a standout, fluffy, crunchy, sweet. Fresh juice was delicious and a decent serving. Coffee also very good. Highly recommend.

Yesterday my daughter and I had the tastiest, and beautifully presented breakfasts that we’ve had in a long while; and served up with miles of smiles. I would definitely revisit.

Very fun brunch with the family. Great view and service. The price was reasonable for the portion ($212 for 7 dishes, 1 side, 6 drinks).

This place is an absolute gem .It has truly become my happy place.Every aspect of Cleopatra is beautiful. From the architecture to the spray bottles. Every part looks like it is a piece of skill and art.And not just that, but the tea and food are both incredible!Often when I get tea at a cafe or restaurant, they hand me a bitter cup with an even more bitter tea. But not Cleopatra. Just the first sip made my entire body relax. And with each sip that delightful flavour from the first sip was still there.And if you are lucky, you will get to chat with the owner. His love for Cleopatra absolutely shines through, and the pride he takes with the restaurant is as obvious as the tea and food are delightful

Very aesthetically pleasing place to eat. Ordered their lemon meringue soufflé pancakes & they were okay. Definitely ‘instagram worthy’ but not that appetising. Pancakes were spongey rather than fluffy & the meringue was a bit too much meringue making it a bit sickly, also the granola didn’t really tie in. I asked for my coffee in a takeaway & it came in a cup. My friend ordered the eggs Benedict but the eggs were a bit undercooked & still had the clear jelly over them. Not to mention the food took awhile & the place was basically empty. Probably wouldn’t come back again but love the look of the place.
