Sarina Russo Job Access

I found my run-in with this job agency utterly de-humanising and demoralising. They spoke down to me and I felt like they treated me like I was lying or trying to scam the system. I was actually a full-time student studying post-grad but unfortunately my course was only 6 months in duration so it wasn't eligible for Austudy. They wouldn't count the post-grad study as an approved activity and refused to record the course I was doing on their system. Consequently, I had to jump through numerous hoops job-searching on top of the full-time study and part-time work I was already doing. The stress of being talked down to and the threat of potentially having my income cut-off gave me insomnia, and I had to go on sleep medication. Luckily I was able to switch to another job agency who were at least polite.

Abusive, capricious staff that relish in the misfortune of those who they are enlisted to help, they set a very poor example for those trying to find work. Absolutely disgraceful, I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. I've pulled myself out of unemployment, but not by the help of Sarina Russo, they only ever worked to set me back. Until their staff take a serious look at themselves I say avoid at all costs.Though nothing I say applies for Mariam, her compassion, dedication and attention to detail is very noteworthy and deserves to be commended.

I always had the same lady for the multiple times that I have been to the Brunswick office and I never felt like I was getting any help at all. She'd bring me in for 5-10 minutes and just say keep trying and send me on my way. But. Today I had Mariam, she was amazing and extremely understanding, she was genuinely trying to help me and give me advice an information to help me find work and gave me tips on my resume that no one else had.Honestly speaking, if I didn't have Mariam today I probably would've walked out of the building and given up! Thank you Mariam!!!

Absolutely useless, they will do whatever they can to get an outcome payment except spend even a single moment actually helping you find work, a joke of an office.All I want is help finding work but even asking for something as basic as advice ti improve my resume has been ignored. The one time they gave me a cover letter it was full of spelling and grammar mistakes.Last time I complained the manager talked big about the personal assistance he would give me and the reverse marketing he would do on my behalf, for the first time I felt listed to - naturally he never followed through.Being unemployed has been the darkest period of my life, Sarina Russo Coburg have done nothing except make this already awful, damaging experience worse.

It’s just absolutely baffling to me how this business is still operating. Need a counsellor? No worries. Your agent will get back to you on that one after you call them 4 times. Need a job no worries. Just reply Y to every single job and here nothing back for 3 months. Need to reschedule your appointment because the trams are down, no worries. Instead of using the time you were supposed to be having your appointments to call back and reschedule your agent will instead ignore you and do god knows what with the time she was supposed to spend with you. These guys are absolutely useless. Go somewhere else. Trust me. Oh and by the way, listening to Serrina Russo for 15 minutes talk about how she cares is honestly the most pain I have ever insured and I’ve seen some s#%*

I have got great assistance from Jo at Sarina Russo Brunswick throughout my job search. I have had referrals to positions and now have a great 12-18 month job contract which I start in a couple of weeks. Jo has been very encouraging during my search and I am very appreciative of her help in securing a job in my preferred field. Thanks Jo!

I have been registered with Sarina Russo Job Access Brunswick since January 2019. I am totally dissatisfied with the lack of service.My consultant does not listen, is rude and seems to be quite blasé about the whole situation.On the first appointment she asked if i was working at the moment to which I replied no. She looked over my resume and commented that I had worked for quite a while at my recent job and asked if I was still working there. I'd just told her I was not working.I was made to do job search on their premises. I mentioned that it was counterproductive as I had all the facilities at home to do my job search. She said it obviously wasn't working. I almost commented that their computers must be magic.When I came in for job search it was terrible. The computers are out in the reception area. There are people sitting behind you waiting to be seen so no privacy. The front door is always ajar so it is noisy, especially when the trams are passing. The staff have no professionalism, they call out to one another so you have to listen to their conversations.On numerous occasions i have been early/on time for my appointment but my consultant is not as she is on break. She never apologises for keeping me waiting. I asked whether she forgot that she had an appointment with me and her response was the most job seekers are late anyway.I have requested to be transferred one several occasions but they have not bothered to put the paperwork through.I turned up for an appointment but was put down as non-attendance and my Newstart suspended.On my last appointment I produced some receipts for out-of-pocket job search costs that I wanted to be reimbursed for. She flat out refused. I insisted that I was entitled to a reimbursement and to talk to the manager and she advised me that he was not onsite that day and that he'd call me. She advised if he approved it they would pay. I have not been contacted. It's been three business days. I will be taking this further.I know I have obligations and Sarina Russo have obligations, but they could be more professional about it and more supportive. We all have the same goal: to get a sustainable job. I wish there was some empathy. We are all human and on different paths.I am made to feel like I'm a criminal. My worth is low when I visit this office. I should be feeling good about job search.I would avoid this one..

Natasha at Sarina Russo Coburg is the best job provider I have ever had. I have had a few small stints in between corporate jobs in the past at other providers and have been spoken down to, had my time wasted and been provided very little support. Natasha really surprised me with how competent, compassionate, cheerful, positive and respectful she was. It was actually a pleasure to attend meeting with her rather than an experience to dread which I have had in the past. She is a real asset to Sarina Russo :)

My consultant, Natasha is the best I’ve ever had, she seems to genuinely want the best for me, and no doubt all her other clients. I’ve had more interviews because of her, and I’ve had real opportunities to expand my skillset. Would definitely recommend this agency and Natasha to anyone on Jobseeker or looking for a good job agency in general.

amazing support surprisingly. i must say i was sceptical at first but with the supportive staff i was able to see what errors i was making that were proving obstacles to the procurement of work.Mariam was efficient, extremely professional and helped gradually guide me through the process of finding work. Her confidence combined with tenacity has kept me motivated and enthusiastic about job seeking. good work!
