Ordered a variety of meals last night (first time for us at Chipper) we ordered Trout Treat with crumbed trout and calamari, battered prawns and chips with a side salad this was great! By far one of the best takeaway seafoods in town. Also, we ordered a steak sandwhich and kids nuggets and chips the quality of the food was excellent and will be coming back again soon.

Unfortunately, there was a bit of an issue in the ordering process and only realised when we went to pick it up they did rectify the situation and re-cooked a whole meal after some Choice words in the end it was very tasty, hence the four star review

We’ve ordered from here many times and have never been disappointed. So many gluten free options and they use a different fryer for gluten free. Always coming back for more!

We used to visit Chipper Fish regularly when we were living in town and the fish and chips were always spot on. After moving out of town we hadn't had it for quite a number of years, until recently when we had it again. I can honestly say the fish and chips were the best we have both ever had. Generous portion sizes, tasty crumbing on fish and the chips were delicious. Great to see after all these years nothing has changed and Chipper Fish still provide quality food and service.

We'd never, ever had a bad experience with the food at Chipper Fish until just recently. On the 09th of November we placed an order for some battered Dory, sweet potato fries, crumbed seafood sticks and some onion rings - unfortunately none of it was 'right'. The batter on the fish was pale, doughy and greasy.....the worst we'd ever tasted in fact. We had no idea what the fish was (we very much doubt it was Dory) but it was rubbery, dry and dark in places instead of being moist and white. The seafood sticks were greasy and battered instead of crumbed as we'd requested, the onion rings were cold and greasy, and the sweet potato fries weren't far off being burnt. It was truly awful and extremely disappointing. Maybe they had someone different doing the cooking that day....it seemed that way that's for sure. Not sure if we'll ever go back to be honest.

The food is great. They don't have a few items that you'd usually find at a fish and chip shop but still happy with what I've had so far. The staff are quick and efficient

We placed a phone order and it was ready for pickup in 10 minutes. (Monday night). The Hoki and calamari was delicious. Friendly staff quick service. Will go back again for sure. (Menu as of 24.10.22, subject to change)

Its a fish and chip shop, can't really go to wrong. This place is great, good bloke running the show.
