I recently co-facilitated a virtual workshop with Bill that was organised by member organisations from The WA Alliance of Native Title Representative Bodies and Service Providers (the Alliance). The online event provided a forum to discuss the early stages of co-design of the ‘regulations’ and ‘guidelines’ associated with the new Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2021 (WA) (ACH Act).Bill's facilitation was respectful, insightful, extremely prepared and organised, and provided a platform where all participants were able to be heard and contribute. Bill managed the technology with ease and was seamless in all aspects of facilitation. As a co-facilitator I felt very supported and I hope I get to work with Bill and Kooyar Wongi again in the future. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Bridgetown-Greenbushes Community Landcare invited Bill and Nerilee from Kooyar Wongi to deliver two Noongar Traditional Ecological Knowledge field walks as part of our Herbarium project and the feedback from the more than 40 participants lucky enough to come along was fantastic. Comments included- 'How approachable and knowledgeable the presenter, Bill, was' ; 'Very informative and has inspired me to find out more' ; 'Loved listening to Bills stories' ; 'Being in the bush and learning about the qualities of the plants' ; ' The presenters - good communicators, affable and interesting people'. and many more in a similar vein. We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to learn more about Noongar culture and traditional uses of our local plants and look forward to working with Bill and Nerillee again in the future.
