The birdlife is a big attraction. Great swimming, and fish and yabbies are plentiful. There are nice un-powered campsites and hot hot showers in this get away-from-it-all place. No phone reception - and it is a desert so those expecting to see waterfalls may be disappointed - unless there have been recent rains. But quite spectacular when the falls are running.

Such an amazing place to have a race. It's been great for over 100 years now. Would totally recommend a visit!

Nice quiet place. Very expensive @ $20.00 per van for no power or water. But does have bush toilets and hot showers.

Great stop for a few nights. Hosts Di and Kevin are super friendly. The gorge is stunning, went for a canoe up the river. Night stars are up there with the best we've ever seen.Toilets and showers are fantastic. Lots of lovely little touches to make them nice and there is even a bath with all the beautiful smelly stuff to put in it for a lovely relaxing soak
