Amazing food!!! The meats are always really great quality, lots of flavour and well complimented with the sauces. The serving sizes are generally quite large also, which is a bonus because I love having the left overs to take for lunch the next day. Location is also great, being right next to the lake.

Brilliant! Not just deliciously tender meat but fantastic friendly family service, 5 stars all around! The meat platter for 2 is phenomonal, packed with meat full of flavour. Good selection of beers and desserts too, but who are you kidding you’re here for that sweet sweet meat!!!

After finding Nik’s BBQ via Facebook, we thought it was worth a try. It was a working lunch so we thought it best not to attempt the 2kg steak challenge.However, we still chose a hefty 500g wagyu steak with an extra fried egg. It was beautifully cooked!Nice clean premises and top effort - looking forward to returning. Well done Nik and co!!!

Wrong baked potato delivered, missing bottle of coke. Fish burger and chips literally stone cold.phoned the shop was put on hold for 7 minutes. Hung up called again spoke with manager. Was told how could the chips possibly be cold they were that busy and couldn’t keep up. Was told to drive down and get replacement potato and bottle of coke. We get there, 1 table of 2 which the manager was sitting outside with them. Certainly not busy…rest of the orders were not great. Wouldn’t go back.

The food did taste good. However, the price was absolutely insane.For almost $30 I got 4 pieces of octopus which were about an inch long each. It was served on top of plain iceberg lettuce, 1 cherry tomato and 1 cucumber. It was an absolute joke!

I ordered the “beef & reef” and asked for the steak medium rare. I was shocked when asked to pay $44. The steak was completely raw, not even close to medium rare. Disappointing!

Have been coming here with my partner for several years now. Staff provide a very family-friendly type of atmosphere. Always order an AB pack, and the flavour is better than the majority of other AB packs we've had in SA. Very generous serving of meat with chips thay are still crispy and seasoned well, even under the bed of meat.

I went to this place after almost two years. No change in taste and I enjoyed every bite. Met the friendly owner, had a good chat and good food. Would definitely suggest this place if you are a meat lover! ❤️

The staff is great, very kind and helpful. The servings are so much, it took me 2 days to finish my complete meal and I am a big eater guys. Wonderful place to relax and have a meal, it across the road from the lake, the scenery is so beautiful.
