K&B Carpentry and Renovations Pty Ltd completely transformed my 70s 3-bedroom brick bungalow into a fabulous contemporary coastal chic home.The footprint has been cleverly re-configured to include a welcoming entrance to my home, an ensuite, new bathroom/laundry, more spacious kitchen, open plan sitting room and new dining room. The outdoor space has been completely transformed into a fabulous outdoor entertaining area with the addition of a large composite deck, kitchen, pool surround and separate patio areas. Large pergolas, built to provide vertical planting areas greatly enhance the overall aesthetic of the property whilst providing shade and interest. Landscaping work also included the construction of 3 mighty raised vegetable garden beds.From the initial consultation through to construction, Brad’s inclusive approach led to the detailed and original coastal chic design. A key feature of a good renovation is increased functionality of existing spaces within the home, and in this sub-tropical climate, the outdoor areas. Brad and his team achieved an exceptionally high-quality original renovation which not only exceeded my expectations, but also matched my budget, and most importantly, my dream.From the design phase through to completion the budget was set and adhered to. When the need arose for the design to be tweaked, Brad listened and continued to offer comprehensive solutions. There were no delays. The project was completed within the set time frame.Minor difficulties and hidden issues, which are invariably part of all renovations, were discussed and decisions were made quickly and competently. Brad’s willingness to tackle glitches by coming up with ingenious solutions, whilst giving me the peace of mind that anything was possible, was truly remarkable. Not to be underestimated, this man is extremely smart, resourceful and capable.K&B Carpentry and Renovations employs great tradesmen. The crew who worked on my home were respectful, clever and justifiably proud of their work. Their industry, professionalism and attention to detail is second to none. They contacted us for the work as a new small business so we gave them ago, they took our money and six months later still no work done then he comes in one day and abandons the job. This is no way to run a new small business this is Hervey Bay not Sydney, apologies would’ve gone along way.

Hubby & I needed a complete gut & rebuild of our bathroom, as well as a ramp that gives wheelchair access to our house. All of this was done while we were in another state.Brad was superb to work with because he listened to our needs, he took photos so we could see what was being done & we always knew what was going on.Brad is honest & realistic in his appraisals & quotes, while the quality of his work is Superb!Grateful we chose K&B Carpentry and Renovations and you will be too.

As the owner of a property that paid a deposit for K & B renovations, I am extremely disappointed with the outcome. Over 6 months minimal work was undertaken. Lengthy delays and excuses combined with poor communication resulted in builder abandonment. Buyer beware. Ensure your contractor is well established, professional, complies with building regulations is committed to the job and well known in you region. Unfortunately these aspects were not evident with K & B.

We absolutely loved having Brad renovate our investment property bathroom. He was very professional and was able to meet a very tight deadline for us. His attention to detail and quality was exceptional and we would definitely hire him again for another job in Hervey Bay.

I highly recommend Brad & his team. We had our bathroom renovated by them and the process from start to finish was seamless. Being a perfectionist myself, I really appreciated Brad's eye for detail. He listened to all of our requests and was happy to answer any questions we had along the way. We are extremely happy with the end result. K&B Carpentry and Renovations completely transformed our newly purchased 1988 built home and brought it into this century. The outstanding effort, professionalism that this team has provided us has been outstanding. Their work far exceeded my expectations.
