Had 5 leather lounges delivered, only 2 required, 3 faulty and the last 2 looked like they were from the reject pile and developed a creak within 2 weeks. Harvey Norman and supplier reckon this is minor and won't refund. This is what you could get if you buy from Harvey Norman, see photos, we are having to pursue a refund through legal channels. 2 lounges cost over $6k. Shame photos don't show just how poorly these are made. BTW, first 2 leather lounges were both faulty, 1 motor did not work and had a big visible mark, second one leather started peeling within 3 months. Quality control and assurance... Lol. Edit. 2 weeks further on one of the seats has basically lost most of its strength and support.

Over the years I have purchased a wide variety of products here, ranging from furniture to white goods to appliances to computer products. Both products and service has been excellent for these. So 5 out of 5 for appliances and computers.This said, I'm not sure I would buy a bed from here again. The salesperson was brilliant. It was the delivery etc that was bad. The bed and bedside tables arrived at 9:30am on a Saturday. One bedside table had a drawer that refused to open. The delivery person said that they would be back within the hour with a replacement. By 12:30 they had not returned. I phoned Harvey Norman and was told that they don't do immediate replacements and that the deliverer should not have said this. Instead a repair person would contact me next business day. On Wednesday I had heard nothing, so I rang Harvey Norman bedding again. This time the person on the phone was very terse and told me that a replacement had been ordered. They gave me no idea of the wait time. I felt like they thought I was a nuisance.I waited a week, and on the subsequent Wednesday phoned again. The woman who answered this time was shocked when I explained what had happened and said she would get right on it.Sunday of the next weekend: a man from Harvey Norman phoned to say they would get right on it (note the same phrase).It is now Tuesday evening.Parking at the centre is plentiful.EDIT: It has been about 3 months.. Are we ever going to get that replacement bedside table????

Return customer for 10 years, says it all. Great selection of products and competitively priced. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 epidemic has restricted the availability of products and decimated the workforce. Hence, it's hard to find the products you are looking for and to get good customer service without having to wait quite a while. Ordered kitchen appliances 2 months ago for a renovation and have just been informed that they will not be available till mid June. If you have the time, it's worth the experience. If you're in a hurry, I suggest that you search for alternatives.

He have been buying from this location for over 15 years with good to fair sales but in the last year some sales aspect tactics" need to be addressed. Been told to buy "product care" then return before exipry date so they can "find some wrong with item" to get new item. They would be insurance fraud ...Especially with the drama we had with a laptop item which was faulty .. Product care found a secondary issue and refused to repair and then returned laptop worse than given."

Honestly , I have shopped only with HN for years for the most outstanding service , before after and during .Just had a massive delivery and not only was the delivery prompt and with a smile, somehow my puppy got out and the managed to catch her in between her running onto a very busy road .I highly recommend this amazing company and will not go anywhere else .Thank you HN

How can a reputable Harvey Norman retail chain be so inefficient and unprofessional. Simple click and collect order placed, advised to pick up at Caringbah store, I phoned the day before to check if it was ready and available at store and not at warehouse, they confirmed. Arrived at 9:30 at the store as to advertised trading hours, waited 30 minutes as they didn’t open until 10 then informed that there is no stock and we need to go to the warehouse. Apology accepted by the sales person provided but what do we get in return for compensation and for wasting our time on Australia Day. Nothing…so in return I knew I should have brought this item from JB HiFi and you wont see us back there ever again.
