Twinstar Guesthouse & Observatory
We stayed at the Twinstar last weekend and very much enjoyed the stay. The hosts, Eiji and Naomi, are welcoming and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with lots of thoughtful little touches provided. Continental breakfasts and dinners are available though we only ordered the breakfasts. We got a good selection of cereals, bread for toast and toppings. The price for the breakfast was very reasonable also. As part of our stay, we attended an information tour and night sky viewing with Eiji’s reflector telescope. Eiji has a wealth of knowledge of the night sky and we enjoyed the tour very much. If you are interested in stargazing, I’m sure you will enjoy this tour.Cathy and John

Loved staying here. Room was clean and tidy. Host were very friendly and helpful. Garden and surrounds were beautiful. The included night sky talk and star viewing was incredible. Breakfast was well worth the price. Location is close to Girraween national Park and many Ballandean wineries.

A wonderful place to stay with clean, simple motel-style rooms. The night sky tour was fantastic. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Twinstar Guesthouse & Observatory
Room is clean, shower water is strong and the location is good. It is a bit difficult to find the entrance because it is not a proper paved road.The stargazing is fantastic. The male owner Eji is really an enthusiast and is very knowledgeable with astronomy. Under his guidance, we watched couple stars including Mars, Saturn and Moon. Highly recommend.The price is very reasonable too.

We had a very enjoyable experience, our room was comfortable and clean and the meals were delicious. It was good to be able to set up our equipment for stargazing and we really enjoyed the guided stargazing experience in the observatory. We will definitely be back soon.

What a beautiful little place. Naomi and her husband are lovely and accomodating. The rooms have books about stars. Absolutely wonderful place to stay for anyone who likes star gazing. Short easy drive to Giraween too.

We had a wonderful stay at Twinstar guesthouse with Naomi and Eiji being great hosts Totally enjoyed the whole experience. The room was spotless and everything was extremely well organized. The dinner was delicious. Eiji opened up the night sky for us in the observatory which was an amazing bonus. .Exceptional value and we look forward to coming back in winter so we can see Saturn and Jupiter.

From our first contact with Naomi via E-mail I was impressed with her professional and welcoming manner.Our stay has been the “ total experience”, you definitely need to experience staying here and find out for yourselves, all the wonderful feedback in reviews I happily agree with, 20 years anniversary!! Heavenly! Very so lucky as the sky was very clear. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here because I am into stars! The talk by Eiji on stargazing was excellent. I learnt so much. It was fantastic to see the stars and galaxies using the telescope. My favourite was the jewellery box star cluster. Amazing! I think we had so many questions that Eiji patiently answered. I was definitely rugged up as it was a cool night. The food was very nice too. We had the Japanese set meal -minshuku.. The accommodation was very clean and reception excellent. I will definitely pop in again as I wouldn’t mind seeing some planets
